I thought the Thursday night football game between the Pack and Hawks had a chance to be decent but then I remembered it was Thursday night football...

It should be a good one, both teams needing wins and 2 good QBs |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I thought that last weeks would have been good too....
I am looking forward to it. I enjoy watching both teams. |

NFLPA should focus on fixing the franchise tag in the next round of CBA talks. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
He's got some cajones. I'll give him that. Not sure I have any principles worth 14 million.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Dallas is that team that could be 4-12 and ESPN would say "But next yr look out"
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
ESPN sucks but can't blame them for Troy's Cowboy Derangement Syndrome.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I love Thursday night football when its two good teams and not the Skins playing. Gives me a reason to have a few drinks and watch football. Still trying to figure out how I can record the second have of the Skins game this weekend.

No, we have LaVar to thank for that. |

Damn, time flies. That was a long time ago now. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
im sick of all these fans saying elite qb play is all you need to win in the nfl. blah blah blah this qb raises the talent level around him blah blah blah. rodgers aint doing shit with that weak ass team.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Packers front office should be ashamed...

It's not his fault the defense sucks. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
HOF QB play for 25 years and only 2 SB's. All we hear about in the Midwest is how great the Packers are and how great the front office is. That myth should be put to rest. They have wasted Rodgers and he should demand major changes.

That just proves how hard it is to win a SB |

That’s funny you mentioned defense. How are all the D coordinators that people craved for in this forum are doing? Pettine Gus Bradley Phillips Guenther |

Pettine Gus Bradley Phillips Guenther[/quote] I don’t know if anyone craved pettine. I most did with Phillips. Gus Bradley, a lot of people were interested. Guenther...more a connection with Jay cause they good friends. Manusky been better than expected imo. I think he hasn’t been outstanding...to be outstanding you have to beat good QBs. Imo the rebuild on dline has been more important than manusky...and torrian Gray and thomsula have been huge. |

(AROD, BREES , LUCK , RYAN) This week we will face a future top 10 QB in Watson, a huge test for the defense and Manusky. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I loved watching AR loose last night I can't stand Egotistical ass wipe. Yes he is a great QB but when he makes a play he gives you that look of I'm Great And I Know It. Maybe if he did demand such a large contract they would have more money to bring in better players.

He's def cocky and it seems like he blames his teammates for most of his mistakes |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
The Packers typically don't spend much of anything on free agents so AR's contract isn't an excuse. They build through the draft and when they miss on a few it puts them in the kind of hole they're in now.

They got 42 million in cap room this offseason...I feel like McCarthy is gone, it will be the most attractive job in league by far. I think McCarthy could wind up with the browns...I like that fit too. |

That's why I don't like him. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Of course he’s cocky, show me a good QB that isn’t
I love watching AR play, that 54 yard bomb he tossed while on the move across his body was sick |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
AR is a douche. Don't like the guy at all. But at least if you put the pieces around him you have a chance. He does have a SB and you can't take that away from the guy. And really he should have played in a 2nd one. Alex Smith by all accounts is a super cool dude who is as down to earth as it gets, you'd love to play a round of golf with him, but we'll never ever win a SB w/ him under center.

Shows you how imperative good coaching is.

It's why I say that Bill Belicheck is a greater asset to the Patriots than Tom Brady. Coaching matters a lot. |

The Atlanta Falcons organization is the biggest softest group of pussies. When the going gets tough they choke. Bitches.

They suck and have always sucked, up 28-3 in a SB and choked |

After reading that tidbit about Sean Payton revealing how the NFL got 2 owners to try and convince Benson to get rid of him before the suspension happened, it sounds pretty personal for Payton this year. Out of all the contenders I wouldn't mind seeing the Saints or Rams win it. Just no more Pats, or anybody from the NFC East, or the Steelers. |
