Time to clean house 1.0.
After another disaster of a game on MNF (we all knew it was coming), It is time to start over as an organization. Yes that may seem a little premature but hear me out.
A. Jay Gruden just can't get the job done plain and simple. He is now 1-7 on MNF . The Skins are now 0-6 this season after trailing at any point in a game, that is almost unheard of. B. This team is constantly out schemed and out coached weekly, yes we have had injuries but it is also a scheme issue and we clearly can't keep up with the better teams. C. The guys show fight I will give Jay that, even last night when everyone knew we had no chance,(Clinton Portis said before the game "it would take a miracle") they were only down 1 point in the 4th. Jay starts calling some of the worst BS play calls we could imagine. Almost as bad as Jim Zorn. Instead of running the ball since the whole world knew Mark didn't know the play book, he brings out some fuckery and makes the team look like clowns on national tv. D. Bruce Allen needs to go, I don't see it happening because he is Dan's boy but it is beyond time to let his ass walk. The Mcnabb , RG3 , Kirk and now Alex situations at QB alone should grant a firing. E. FUCK YOU DAN SNYDER for ruining a once proud historic franchise into a laughing stock of the NFL. Nothing good has come since Dan bought the team, in fact we are constantly doomed year in and year out. INJURIES - Look guys and Rave, this team is cursed PERIOD. You can't sit there and tell me otherwise. It is unreal how many injuries this team has yearly, guys drop like flies. The QB situation should have never even been this bad, we are stuck with Mark Sanchez as the QB1 for the last 4 weeks, it is laughable at this point. Being a Redskins fan is now the equivalent to being a Lions or Browns fan, I don't give a flying fuck about 3 SB's that happened 30 years ago, this team needs a clean slate and it starts with BA, JAY and his staff. All need to be fired by DEC 31st. I hope we lose out and get a top 10 Pick, draft Will Grier or Justin Herbert and start over. Have at it folks |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
First Bruce Allen needs to go...I really don't care about anything else.
But I wouldn't be opposed to a complete house cleaning...If we could keep Tomsula and Gray that would be cool. |

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Here are the UFA's for the end of this season.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
When was the last time a team went to their 3rd string QB due to injury? I can't even recall that happening.

I remember it happening to the Cardinals a few years ago when Palmer, and then his backup went down right at the end of the season...they had a good team and had already clinched a playoff birth. |

Joe Flacco's rookie year (2008?). Is the only one I remember. they went to the playoffs. |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Fire Bruce Allen, Gruden and Ike Hilliard
Promote Kyle Smith to GM (he’s viewed as the Sean McVay of personnel) Let Kyle pick his coach and QB |

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Fine with that ^

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Manusky is trash and part of the problem on defense. We have a fairly talented D that he let regress.
Injuries are the most frustrating part about this whole thing. It's so random you can't even plan on it or around it. Like if we draft a QB, they'll tear their ACL walking to the podium. Hell, has anyone does a graphic? It all started with Guice, then a few games in it went downhill from there. We have another player with a weird nerve injury?! We lost a promising starter to something like that and now we have another one. It's just crazy. |

I would get rid of them, get some cap space savings. |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
Jay seems like he knows what is coming in his Presser, he sounds defeated and always has the same response "well we just have to keep working" I know that is coach talk but cmon man.
He did say however "The defense is too good to be giving up 400 yards a game" That is a little shot at Greg and the players on D IMO. |

He’s already a VP and Kyle ran this years draft. |

Promote Kyle Smith to GM (he’s viewed as the Sean McVay of personnel) Let Kyle pick his coach and QB
I believe in the bold part, it does not matter who is new GM. Whoever is the new GM should be the one who hires new coach (even if GM believe in Gruden and decides to stick with him). I don't really know much about Kyle Smith other than what people are saying about him - I would not oppose to promoting Kyle Smith to GM. We can only hope Snyder will come to senses and move on from Allen, or at least change his job position if he really wants to keep Allen within Redskins organization. I am really hoping we will keep Tomsula and Gray, it is evident both coaches play significant role in shaping up our defense. |

Norman still plays hard and can make plays here and there but he would have to restructure. Jon Allen isn't that good, I know people will argue with that but the tape doesn't lie, he hardly ever wins his matchups. Idk if he's just an average player or if its a scheme thing. Foster is what he is , slow in coverage but a good run defender. Smith and RK have no speed off the edge, both are guys that I really wouldn't mind seeing let go. PS: RK stop with the HBK shit already, u make plays when the games never matter 90% of the time. Also U are like 30 man, grow up. HAHA has done jack shit since coming to DC. DJ is good but he talks too much and doesn't always back it up. Dunbar can't be relied on to stay healthy. |

I think the biggest thing with him is whether this will affect him beyond this season. I would be okay with shutting down Trent and Dunbar for the rest of the season. I would also be looking to trade Norman, if next year is his last year and if Dunbar can come back from this injury (hence my suggestion of shutting him down). Despite of the miscues, he's had a number of picks this year, and teams will be interested in him because of that. |

He grades as consistently as anyone on the defense week in and week out on Cooley's film breakdowns. Allen, Payne, and Ioannidis have been the bright spots. |

Man Russell is just whiney bitch. He sounds like my ex girlfriend that just won't let it go.

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
In the last 5 weeks (1-4)
The team is allowing an average of 422 YPG Only gaining on average 299 YPG That folks is how you go 1-4 in that stretch |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
"The Redskins are now 58-84-1 in Bruce Allen's 9+ seasons running the team. GM spot in that time included McCloughan saga, Jay Gruden is his 3rd coach. The QB situation has involved the McNabb trade & extension, Griffin fall from grace, Cousins fiasco and Smith trade/ extension."

Grant Paulsen
I mean, he should have been gone years ago...the Alex Smith contract extension was the coup de gras from that bastard. I swear...here a final albatross around your neck to wear for the next couple years. F this guy |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
How many people will show up for the Sanchez Skins on Sun? There is no way Allen can survive this. The Alex Smith trade was the last straw.

I bet u they have less than 5000 people in the stands. I wouldn't go to that game if the tickets were free |

Grant Paulsen
Bruce Allen's win percentage is worse than Gruden's, but I think Snyder's is even worse in his almost 20 years owning the Redskins. |
Re: Time to clean house 1.0.
You don't clean a condemned house, you knock that motherfucker down, clear out the debris, and build a new one.
I'm honestly on the brink of just giving up on this team until Bruce AND Gruden are gone. No point of watching. I'll watch the Chargers at home for free to get my football fix. |

This could be exactly the wake up call the FO needs. Seeing a mostly empty stadium would have to go a long way in making the fan's disgust obvious to all. |

I fear it won't...they'll chalk it up to injuries. What needs to happen, is that the 5000 fans that ARE there on Sunday, all hold up signs saying "SNYDER PLEASE SELL OUR TEAM!!!" |

Under the three primary owners: George Preston Marshall: 180-201-18 (399 games) 0.474 winning percentage Jack Kent Cooke: 250-169-3 (422 games) 0.596 winning percentage Dan Snyder: 138-177-1 (316 games) 0.438 winning percentage In order for Dan to achieve the same winning percentage as racist Marshall by his 399th game the team would have to go 51-32 or a 0.614 clip. The 28 years the JKC owned the team were something special. |
