With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Hey folks...so first list your best guess. And then who do you want? Trade the 15th for Rosen? What the fuck will we do?
Here is a solid source for the grades: https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/prospects I’ll say this, top end talent seems to be lacking, but middle round of 2nd through the end of the third round is the sweet spot for this draft. My feeling is this, Bruce is gonna try to move back 4- 5 spots to pick up 3rd or a couple spots to pick up a 4th. Either way, I expect him to chose a WR: My best guess at 15: WR Marquise Brown Who I would want: Guard/Tackle: Jonah Williams or LB Devin White. My feeling is the QBs will be gone, Montez Sweat will be gone and I don’t think FO will take a TE prospect in the first over a WR prospect. For some reason they prefer garbage at TE. I think trading up is most likely out. Who do you see us drafting at draft at 15 or a couple spots behind? |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
In a perfect world, the 1st 3 rounds for me would be Edge, WR, QB, G.
At 15, give me Allen, Burns, or Sweat in that order. I would be happy with Hockenson or Lock or White too, even though they don't fit above. |

That 2nd round pick looks prime for edge rusher or interior Oline from where a lot of that talent is tending to grade and group up at this point. |

Another way to do this thread would be to put your top 15 guys in order that you would choose for the Redskins. Since we have needs pretty much everywhere, it would be a 99% BPA list. Then we would all take the highest guy available on our list. Each post would be a mile long though lol. |

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Brian Burns - Edge FSU
|
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Daniel Jones QB - redskins reach because Haskins, Murray and Lock are gone. If Lock is not gone then the'll take him. If all 4 are gone then D.K. Metcalf Ole Miss - WR or LB Devin White, LSU

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Drew Lock is in for a private workout tomorrow per Keim

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Anything besides a ham sandwich or a reach at Qb

If they don't land Rosen, u can bet a reach is coming |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
N'Keal Harry, wide receiver- Arizona State....
|
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
My dream scenario:
- Redskins trade for Rosen with a 2nd rounder. - Redskins take BPA at 15 or trade back - gaining a 2nd rounder and potentially more in the trade. |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Murray, Haskins or Lock are the only guys they would take at 15. They won’t reach.

Always enjoy reading opposing team's perspective. Georgia's D coordinator likes Lock.

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
i would trade for rosen. young and cheap. if he doesnt pan out, then next year draft a QB you plan on building around

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
I honestly don't understand how the Cards would be able to trade Rosen for a first round pick, after they draft Murray (as some sports talking heads have said). Unless some team gets desperate (I hope it is not ours), the Cards would lose bargaining power, since teams will know that they are not going to keep Rosen after drafting Murray.
If I'm every team in the Rosen sweepstakes, I would wait until the draft. But as always, it takes one team to make an offer I guess. |

And that'd be the only way they get a first rounder for him. Because the day of the draft, it ain't happening. |

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
I tell ya what would be ideal, is moving out of the first round this year and pick up a first next year and an additional 2nd or 3rd for this year.

I would love that. Having multiple 1st rounders next year would help us move up in the 2020 draft to secure one of the top QBs in a much better draft class. |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Let's draft a new owner 😁

I would trade 3 first round picks for that. |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
I'm fine with Lock , Haskins , Burns , Greedy Williams , Butler , or trade down at 15.

Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
I still believe a trade for a WR could be in play as well. I'd give up a 3rd for AJ Green

I agree but man he's a great weapon when healthy |
Re: With the 15th Pick, the Redskins select...
Green has a $12-15 million dollar cap hit and is a 2020 free agent

The article below lists some good points as to the reasons why Daniel Jones would be a good fit with the Redskins, and I generally agree with all of them. I am intrigued enough to be both excited and nervous if they selected him at 15. Pros: big, pretty athletic, played in a pro style offense, showed an ability to read defenses, and the biggest pro of all he throws with anticipation which is critical in Gruden's timing-based scheme. Con, and it's a big one: not a very quick release. Quick release is important if you're trying to throw to a spot where the WR isn't yet, but headed to. Slower release means the DB sees it and may have time to beat the WR to the spot. It reduces your ability to run after the catch, so receivers catch and get hit right away more frequently. He had only 59% completion at Duke but you can easily chalk that up to supporting cast, I don't perceive there to be big inaccuracy issues. But the quick release thing is an issue. Cousins succeeded with Gruden, at least to some degree, because he a) knew the offense, b) could read a defense, c) threw with anticipation and d) got rid of the ball with a release quick enough to keep the DB from jumping the routes. I think Jones will give you a, b and c, but I'm not sure he gives you enough of d. If he can, then he becomes a very intriguing player to me. |
