Around the NFL Week 1
It’s here f$ck faces.
Want to see the Packers thump the Bears...Saquon show the buck tooth Ewok who the best NFL RB really is in an upset win....and Pittsburgh to make Brady like look a biznitch |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Want to see a Washington QB make it through a game without a broken bone.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Raiders about to suspend AB for an incident with Mayock.
Damn I should've drafted Keenan Allen instead. |

... That man is an effin clown, there's a point where no amount of talent can make up for such silliness. AB is very close if not beyond that point. |

doesnt matter, Allen would have fired the equipment crew for using league sanctioned helmets..... AB and BA would be best fuckin friends i garuntee it |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Did Pittsburgh just do a really great job at keeping things under wraps or did AB have some sort of mental break at some point??

I think AB suffers from pathological narcissism. The guy comes to training camp practice in a hot air balloon... smfh. The Raiders have to cut him. You can't threaten your GM. He totally crossed the line. |

I feel that winning cures everything and makes people not care about anything else. Look at the whole Rodgers vs. McCarthy mess in Green Bay, everything seemed fine (to the general public) until they started to lose. I bet that if for some miraculous reason New England starts to consistently lose games, we would hear about the power struggle between Belichick and Brady (i.e. Brady forcing NE to trade Jimmy G., when Belichick wanted him as his QB of the future). |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
As predicted, Gruden has been a disaster for the Raiders. AB was his move

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Wow the Raiders are a complete shit show. Listening to insiders on the way home...AB might really have some mental issues. When Vontaze Burficit is trying to calm down you and tell you you’re acting crazy...you might have a screw loose.

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
So, when AB gets traded to us for a 6th round pick just because Mayock is desperate to get rid of him, does that make us look good or typical Redskins?
|

He'll be traded to New England for a conditional 7th round pick and he'll magically become a model citizen. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
He’s the highest paid Wr, not many teams have an extra $15mil to spend right now.
Raiders are probably trying to cut him before having to pay him. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Remember, the bears moved up to #2 to draft Mitch Trub. Deshawn Watson and Mahomes drafted #10 and #12 same draft
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Pretty good game by Preston Smith with 2 sacks.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Good for Preston!
Bears LG sucks. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
So once again all through the preseason all you hear is "why do we have all these useless preseason games, they need to do away with these"...and after last nights game all the talking heads "offenses looked awful because they didn't play in preseason at all, they need to play preseason games!!"
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Mike Pettine Def Coordinator and the Packer Defense was easily the most impressive thing about last night...
Remember, the Skins Front office chose Manusky over him. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 1
Actually kinda liked yesterday's game (maybe because it's the first in a while), Bears' defense is amazing, Rodgers managed to pull one and a half drives when they needed, killer redzone INT to pretty much close the game... Like that type of game.
The one thing that really bothered me is the challenge of the pass interference rule... Sheehan was right they'll have to fix it because it'll get unwatchable. The time they spent after GB's challenge on that pass play was absurd IMO, it's football let 'em play. I think they should change it to Referee's initiated review only, both the coaches challenge and the booth initiated review are rythme killers. Let the zebras fix their own mistakes if they have a doubt, but the fact that people not calling the game are going to be able to put the game on hold every time they feel like there could have/shouldn't have been DPI/OPI on any given play is already a pain in the A. |

Manusky has no excuses this yr, our D has the talent to be top 10.

I thought they did a good job containing Mitch to keep him in the pocket and not let him make plays outside of it. Also, Tarik Cohen is their gadget type player...they didn't let him leak too much into space. But this is how you beat the Bears: Total Team Rushing Stats: CARRIES: 15 YDS: 46 AVG 3.1 TD 0 LONG 8 yards Game over folks when you stop the run versus a team with a limited passer. Defense is easy when you do that. |
