Good post. I will have committed several trespasses by the time this game is over. |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
AP healthy scratch.
Why didn’t we just move him? |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
Because you nees to see how Guice does. I'll be fine in moving him if everything goes well with Guice

Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
AP would have been a perfect mix with Guice and CT. I cannot believe there wasn’t some other player who would be less necessary or impactful today than AP. Just another poor decision by the clowns running the team.

I have to agree . Unless one of the young guys looked amazing , or AP has a tight hamstring . AP also might be much better in Pass protection . Hope our Defense plays like they VS Oakland two years ago . Punch the Iggles in the beak !!! |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
They should have just said thanks to AP and moved on from him in the off season. I'm sorry but a player of his caliber deserves respect. Having him be a healthy scratch seems wrong to me.

Because this team, the front office and coaching staff are pieces of shit and have been since Synder bought the team. Only Gibbs 2.0 is the exception Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
It's a strange feeling today. I'm very confident and hopeful for the future of this team, but have very little hope for this season... never the less, I want the Skins to beat the Eagles so badly... just for the sake of shutting their fans up !
HTTR! Swamp the birds! |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
Nobody and I mean gives us a chance, I see a surprise.

Duke Johnson...got a 3 rd for him. Shoulda called Houston when Lamar went down and asked if we were never serious about having AP on the field. |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
All of you people bitching about AP are being very ignorant. AP is a pure runner, not much of a pass catcher, he doesn't play special teams. You can't get rid of him because you need to see how Guice does, but you can't keep him active on gameday because this team cannot afford the luxury of having a back RB that doesn't play ST. Plain and simple.
|
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
Also, Reed being out had more to do with AP being inactive than anything else.

I havenr looked but i doubt there are many teams with 4 game day active running backs where 4th RB doesnt play teams.

Ahhh bullshit. Stop apologizing for this organization. You are telling me he isn’t more valuable than at least one other guy standing on our sidelines? [emoji1630] |
Re: Skins v. Eagles Gameday Thread
JP Holtz is why AP is inactive, i can see he him helping the left side.

Oh come on, don't tell me there was no way to have AP active over any other player: starting with Smallwood, is he really more valuable than our best offensive player from last year ? Is DRC that irreplaceable ? |

There is at least one active player on our team today that should not be so AP can be. He has more than proved his ability to help the run game, and we are one play from a guy coming off an injury from needing him. You cannot in your right mind tell me there isn’t someone less valuable who is active on our team right now. |

This was a pure coaching decision. I like to think instead of bitching mindlessly bitching at everything. AP being an inactive has been discussed by JP and some other folks this whole week. It is unfortunate, but the team needs special teams players. |

Suppose Guice struggles his first few carries, if AP is active then AP being the competitor he is will be pushing to get in, by being inactive he can focis on encouraging Guice this week and be a sideline coach for him giving him his insights. From Guices standpoint think of the added confidence he gets knowing the team has put it on his shoulders Just other ways to look at it. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Look at the decision makers you are putting your faith in though. Lol. And just because you disagree doesn’t mean someone else is simply bitching. You can look back when I told you TW wouldn’t be here today and u said the same thing about bitching and blah blah blah |

Sitting down the 5th top rusher last season isn’t bitching. Looks like mismanagement, just like Jordan Reed...and TW to an extent |

Looks like mismanagement, just like Jordan Reed...and TW to an extent[/quote] Having a 4th RB dressed that doesn't play ST is mismanagement. Jordan Reed has a concussion, where's the mismanagement there? Trent Williams is being a straight up bitch, where is the mismanagement there. The team has done plenty of mismanagement so far (not re-upping Schreff, depending on Flowers, etc., etc.), no need to make up shit. Also TD Davis!! #HeATerp and FU to all of you doubters! |
