I think Cousins will spaz. It's against his old team in prime time, I think he'll make a few bonehead mistakes, one of them most likely being a fumble lost on a strip sack.

That said we'll be lucky to score 3 points against their defense and we lose 20-3 or some bullshit. Dalvin Cook will wear us down in the second half.

This has really become the theme of the season. Seems like our defense plays decent the first half of games and as it goes on they wilt because the offense just cant move the ball or put up points. Defense cant be expected to perform at a high level when they are on the field most the game. And certainly the 3rd down performance by the defense is a major issue with situational football strategy.

Id really like to see what a professional defensive coordinator could do with this unit. The Dline is grading out extremely high every game...Quinton Dunbar and Collins have been good. We have good pieces here.

I'm enjoying how many of you are professionally analyzing why we keep losing games every week. That's some good dedication in a lost season.

Kirk can be hot and cold, but he's been hot lately and he doesn't need any more motivation to beat us.

31-7 Vikings. We score a td on the opening drive of the game, lead by AP who leads an 11 play 75 yard drive by rushing 11 times for 75 yards and a td. Unfortunately the rest of the game he only rushes an additional 24 times for 24 yards, meanwhile Case goes 6-10 for 55 yards for the game which unfortunately isn't good enough to win. Bill Callahan starts his post-game presser by saying it was his fault for not committing to the run more and AP only gets better with more carries.

Callahan is washed, he has that old school Run the ball all game mentality and in todays league that shit doesn't work. Maybe in the dome he will take shots to Terry

If Case sucks I can’t see how Haskins stays out of game .if we get blown out it will be because of “mis communication”in the secondary 😳... when I watch the coach show they actually believe this team is 3or4 plays away from winning games.. well if those 4 plays are touchdowns I would agree 😀!! I believe we could lose out and the staff would say we are close..here is what is gonna happen .. new head coach .. same crap unless bruce is gone and snyder disappears this is what we have ..

Is Gardner Minshew starting because he beat out the competition for the job or is he starting because the starter got injured and he made the most of the opportunity?

2nd, does this coaching staff or the previous HC look like the type of coach that can adapt his system to the player to make them successful? Because I never got that impression in 6 years.

I think this is a wasted year for Haskins anyways because the new HC is most likely going to a Snyder/Allen yes man who will force Haskins to learn another new system which is going to stunt his progress anyways. And if you don't think learning new systems year after year stunts qb progress I'd like to point you to Exhibit A: Josh Rosen.

I get Foles got hurt but Keenum has been AWFUL since week 1, I don't see any reason Haskins should not be playing. If they are concerned that he is not ready and that he may not process the offense quick enough then why did they draft him #15?

A. Because Haskins isn't ready. He played <15 college games, which is way less than all of the other rookie starters. His development is going to take time. Does it really matter that he learns the system of a guy who is not going to be here next year anyways? No, not to me. It's important to me that he studies his ass off, learns what being a pro is about, and is ready to take the reigns for the next HC.

No way the redskins lose this game. Kirk Cousins will choke. He does not know how to come up big in big games, and whether he wants to admit it or not this is a big game for him. Cousins has a good team around him. He doesn't have to win the game all by himself. I'd expect him to play well cause he's been on a tear lately. We've have seen him tease us with great play. Also it's hard to go on the road and win a Thurs game, especially when you're already a bad team.

I just find it hilarious that everyone praised us for drafting him but 7 games in, now he is a 3rd round QB that shouldn't have been drafted until the 3rd day. Or excuses about him getting hurt or losing confidence. I don't think he is the kind of the person to lose confidence based off that. Also, ALL rookies struggle Daniel Jones has thrown more ints than TDs and fumbles left and right. This team is a joke

Baker Mayfield who most said was a top 10 QB going into this season has more INTS than TDs so that excuse is a joke too, who the hell cares? The kid needs to play but we all need to understand that Bruce and Dan are smarter than us and they have a great plan in line no worries

Jones in NY is playing and playing poorly but learning. And Darnold last night was about as bad as bad can get. So these guys can play and make mistakes but Haskins can't? WTF is up with these coaches and the front office? At this point it's just comical.

I highly doubt that Haskins will ever be successful here. It's just not an environment for a young QB to thrive in.

- Not exposing Dwayne Haskins to an NFL defense when he clearly isn't ready
- Showing the rest of the team that you'll start the best players every game
- Not showing the rest of the league how awful Haskins is (at this point) so you have a chance of trading him for some value when we draft a QB first overall in 2020.
- Teaching Haskins that he actually has to put the work in to EARN the job instead of just being an entitled a-hole. (reports were he was lazy, had a bad attitude, and felt entitled - we need to nip that in the bud so we don't have a repeat of the RG3 situation).

You know Snyder and Allen WANT to see Haskins on the field. They are they ones who disregarding the coaching staff and scouting departments advice to draft Haskins 15th overall when the team had a 2nd round grade on him (and half of the league had a 3rd round grade on him). The fact that Snyder and Allen aren't FORCING Haskins into the starting line-up is very telling. it indicates that they are now seeing what the coaching staff and scouts knew all along - Haskins isn't an NFL starter at this point. He's a project and he may take a year or two to develop.
