Around the NFL week 3

RIP to one of the all time greats

Wow, I had no idea he was still with us.

Short career but if he had played longer, he's likely be the greatest and most famous RB of all time. He was unstoppable.

He only played 68 games, but had 6,200 yards and 48 TDs on offense and 8 more TDs on returns, and threw for 1 more.

This is pretty messed up. As Andrew Brandt would say, there will be lawyers:

It will be handled in house I suspect. Soundbites suggest it was accidental, always possible with that procedure and Taylor isn't making noises.

Agree...notice the Thursday night scheduling...all the NFL TV games are trash, as soon as Fox starts their run of games, they become relevant.

Well ... now we know how the rest of America feels when they see WAS on a nationally televised game schedule.

I've followed Taylor from his days at VT. Never really thought he would make it in the NFL but he seems like a really nice guy. Hope he gets back out on the field soon.

Ha, that didn't cross my mind. But no he doesn't. Good gambling strategy. If Gruden is involved in any way with a primetime game, pick the other team no matter what, even if the spread is 29. He can and will pull it off.

Actually I picked James Robinson on one team and dropped Preston Williams on the other. Working out so far... :)

It occurred to me that while the schedule was worked out before we knew there would be no/minimal fans in stadia, were the TNF games allocated on the basis that they would be between teams that the wider audience were unlikely to watch otherwise? With the loss of ticket revenue, was this done just to boost advertising etc.?

Looking around at NFL Defenses, we have the best defense in the NFL East, Philly a tier below us...gotta take advantage of it

I think we have a pretty good D but the bar is set pretty low with Philly, Dallass and the NYG
Vikings lost, I always Like That!
Yup. Wasted money on a wannabe elite QB by the Vikes.

Also, the Falcons shit the bed again. This time by the Nick Foles-led Bears.

The Falcons are going to a whole new level of shitting on their fans. That franchise as a whole is as spineless as Rivera is in a 4th quarter.

Hey Metcalf, go get another nose piercing you dumbfuck.

Cowboys having amazing luck with other teams incompetence this year.

I’ll say this..

The Cowboys should walk into the playoffs...head and tails better than everyone in this division.

It could have been but it wasn’t and you dont pull out the bullshit flags ever let alone at that point of a game. Buffalo is very good and they are not easy to stop. Rams got screwed.

So is the shit i took a couple hours ago. Us, the Eagles and the Giants are all extremely bad. At least As bad as any of them have been in recent memory. If the Cowboys cant win the East this year McCarthy should be fired. 6 wins could most definitely do it.

Nice Dallas: 1 guy does a crocodile roll on Carson's leg then a big fat fuck jumps on him while he's already on the ground. His knee is possibly fucked.

Re: Around the NFL week 3

If Dallas played anyone besides the Falcons last week, they would be 0-3.

Still tied for 1st, we should be trying to win football games. Whoever gives us the best chance to win, at any possession, should be the one(s) playing.
