Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
This team might be my least favorite team I've ever rooted for, regardless of sport.
I hate this team. From top to bottom (less about 5 players). Just a shitty, depressing, terrible football team. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
The only highlights were Collins at LB, Young for giving us one last shot at the end and Patterson having a small coming out party.
Everyone else can get fired into the sun. Especially Blewitt, Heinicke and these shitty coaches. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This shit is starting to look like Panthers redux.

Hopefully it has the same ending after this season. This staff is hot swamp ass. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
2-2 to 2-6.
With a guaranteed loss to TB next. So 2-7. We can possibly beat Carolina and Seattle, but we will be underdogs, and I sure as hell won't predict us to win either. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Lol new kicker first 2 games, 3 blocked field goals
What a mistake |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
8 out of 11 seasons for Ron are losing seasons.

Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
No hope with Snyder as owner.
Legendary coaches like Gibbs and Shanahan couldn’t turn this shit around. Looks like Marty was probably the only coach to ever stand up to him. |
Lol new kicker first 2 games, 3 blocked field goals
What a mistake
It is a total failure on Ron to sign this clown of a kicker. He has never kicked in an NFL game. 3 blocks in 2 games is like high school shit. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Copying NBCSN's stock report format:
Stock up: Jaret Patterson - looked decent in action today. Wonder why it took this long to give him some carries - I'm assuming Gibson's shin fracture is probably still an issue. JD Mckissic - What was it, 8 catches on 8 targets? Way to be productive JD. Chase Young - hey you made a play - giving us one last shot when we really didn't deserve it. Actually this is bittersweet because you really didn't make any plays other than this one. Your stock is still down. Dustin Hopkins - 2 blocked field goals in 90 attempts. Enjoy LA. Jon Allen - Does this mean we have to pay our players to get any decent production out of them? Stock down: Literally everybody else. The defense - in a tied ball game late - you let them drive down the field for the touchdown. Fuck you for getting my hopes up for the first 55 minutes or so. Heinicke - you fucking deer in the headlights. Is this what it feels like when Ralph Wiggum proclaims his love for Lisa and Lisa has to shut that shit down on live tv? "Look at this - you can see the exact moment his heart breaks." I'm just waiting for for the slo-mo replay of Heinicke crying on live tv as his last opportunity to redeem himself slips out of his hands. Young Sweat 2.0 - Sack record my ass you dumb shits. Bobby McCain - you premature ejaculate. Try catching the ball before you run with it. Chris "I" Blewitt - 3 blocked field goals in 4 attempts. They shouldn't even let you back on the plane. The fans - You fuckin guys. Nothing but optimism all offseason - "Heinicke looked great in spot duty last year" "Our d-line should be the best in football" "Everybody should take the next step this offseason" fuck you guys for getting my hopes up that maybe we could improve. Myself - Somebody drive to my house and slap some goddamn sense into me for believing you guys. "Anything is better than Dustin Hopkins" really? REALLY? We as fans have the worst case of "the grass is greener" that I've ever seen. The coaches - at this rate Ron won't get a third season. With our luck we're gonna have a top pick in an offseason where there the draft has no elite qb's available. I can't take another season of this mediocre display of football. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Also my condolences to Chief - your first game since 2002? And you witnessed the football equivalent of Dan Snyder squatting over the punch bowl.

Chris "I" Blewitt - 3 blocked field goals in 4 attempts.
I’m convinced Dan Snyder is picking players the same way I pick racehorses, by their name. How else do you explain a team with Blewitt, Cheeseman, and Heinicki? |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Honestly I can’t really blame a defense holding a team on the road to 17.
We don’t have a quality starting QB and we got garbage kicker. Turner abandoning the run when we enter the red zone…don’t get it. |

Just think about it…we aren’t even talking about misses. We are talking about we can’t kick the ball past the los. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
This is absolutely 100% on Ron, it's like he is intentionally wanting to lose games. You sign a fucking dude that can't even kick?????
QB play is trash, Its the bye week so I hope TH isn't the starter anymore, he sucks. I legit see maybe 2 more wins and that is a maybe. Top 7 pick for sure, prob top 5 |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
JP says Ron will not be fired regardless, said it on his podcast this week. They know that right now nobody will want to come to DC LOLOL Such a sad franchise
|
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Well, I’ll say this. If Blewitt and Henineke are starting after the bye, I’ll be entirely and forever off the RR train. I’d rather see Allen at this point.

No one established would. But an up and comer - like LeFluer or McVay before they got their big breaks? Sure. Eric Bienemy or Kevin O’Connell would take the job I’d bet. Or Byron Leftwich. Some younger guy looking for a shot. A real risk, of course, but this franchise can’t be too picky. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
OH WAIT! It doesn't matter who, or what team, cuz this coaching staff is not former qb Kellen Moore nor Sean Payton...
That makes sense. This coaching staff FUCKING SUCKS |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
OMG: Making Washington’s loss even more damning: Denver’s front seven, playing without Von Miller or Mike Purcell, featured two rookie LBs making their first NFL starts and two veterans who joined the team only a week ago.
That group had 5 sacks, 1 FF and 2 blocked FGs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
The WFT now has a four-game losing streak in four straight seasons and 19 of the last 29 seasons.

Yeah, it wasn't great. They just keep finding ways to lose, and it has become second nature. Just like rooting for a bad team and worse franchise... This was all about the kids though, and despite the loss they had fun interacting with the players during warmups. Scherff came right over to us, CY gave the kids a wave and a wink. We had the bonus of seeing Manning's ceremonies. This team though... |

Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
Still watching every snap but I see how much I've checked out because I don't even have a definite opinion about the game...
The D definitely played better, Allen and Smith Williams both had a solid game. This week Collins actually played very well too. Rookie St Juste continues to be quite steady IMO. Young made one nice play but take that away and he was our least impactful DL... The OL wasn't as awful as I expected after all the injuries considering the final 5 were Leno, Flowers, Larsen, Ismael, Charles... But still not enough to win against most of the league. Charles continues to be a disappointment, he got beat bad with lack of speed and proper hand technique on 2 huge sacks. Getting really hard to be a Heinicke fan... Cutting Hopkins without anything close to a decent replacement was a massive mistake. I didn't like the call to go for the first 4th down in the game, you're not playing the Chiefs or the Packers, but Bridgewater and the Broncos, take the points. I don't even really care what happens the rest of the season in term of results. I'd just like to not feel to bad about what I'm seeing on the field. |

I'd actually like some acknowledgement that this team is a massive disappointment better than comments like that. To be fair I'm not listening to press confs anymore, trying to catch a couple of pods a week is all. So I don't know everything he's saying. But the few comments I read and hear from him are all about trying to build a narrative that something is being built, while we are actually regressing back to a burning pile of sticky shit. I really don't care what coaches say. Getting riled up over what a coach says in a press conference is useless. I want to see changes happen. |
Re: Washington Terrible Football Team - Post Game Thread
It is all about drafting a QB. That is all that matters so lose every damn game. I don't care. We have no hope w/ the current cast of QB's.

What changes are going to help this team?? Nothing can be done until the season is over. |
