Darius Slay could potentially be out for Sunday's game. Prepare to see Philly employ the same game plan as the Lions by bringing extra rushers on pass plays. Hopefully, Turner doesn't wait until the second half to adjust. It's not like Minnesota didn't have ample opportunities to make things interesting last night. They (Cousins) continued to shoot themselves in the foot once they entered the red zone. Irv Smith, Jr. also dropped what would've been a walk-in TD.

Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Sunday's game is a shootout.

I know crazy things can happen in the NFL but man after Sunday it just seems like we will be doomed when facing top 10 Offenses and the Eagles are just that.

Doesn't sound like anyone is giving us a chance in this one. Our offense has been good also. Not quite as potent as Philly's but still good. We are at home as well. Know everyone is down on the defense but Detroit put up a lot of points on Philly also. Will be a tough game to win but not impossible. Let's do this!

Oh, I think they [B]can[/B] win, and they just might. But until I see some consistency for four quarters in all three phases, it's hard for me to have much faith that they will actually get it done.

The over/under on this game is currently 47.5. I honestly think that if the defense plays like they did last week, Philly will get the over all by themselves.

That said, I think the defense plays better, and the offense plays mistake-free.

We didn't have Wentz and some of our guys on offense (Dotson, Samuel, etc.) Philly is also coming off a short week. Again think Philly probably gets us but wouldn't be surprised if we can make it a game.

I watched the Eagles played, IMO we don't stand a chance in this one. Well, week to week league and they're still gonna play the game, so I guess technically we do stand a chance. But realistically I think we're getting trampled.

When Hurts is accurate with passing and protects the ball, their offense is virtually impossible to stop. He is essentially a running back running also. Brown/Smith and a great oline make them tough. Wentz may have to go for 400 in this one for us to have a chance lol with 0 picks of course.

It will be WAY more than 1,000. Those fucking savages will be drinking the entire way down too, just looking for trouble. There is no way I'd go near Dead Ex this week. I can deal w/ Giants and some Cowboys fans. But the Eagles fans are just a bunch of deplorables.

I went to a game at the old Vet. I think it was Ritchie's one year as HC. Never again. Worst experience ever and I have been to a Raiders game in Oakland. Oakland fans were tame compared to Eagles fans.

Hopefully Hurts isn't too pissed either about the last incident he had when he was at FedEx Field. Not a good deal at all and a clear indication we need a new stadium.

That is true about three teams in the division, but not Washington. Wrap your head around some of these numbers:
Since 2000, the Eagles, Cowboys, and Giants all have a better winning percentage within the division than outside of it. That's only mathematically possible because of how horrendous Washington has been inside the division.

The Giants have the second worst divisional record in the East since 2000 with a winning percentage of .500; Washington's divisional winning percentage in that span? .360.

They're the only team in the division that is below .500 in divisional games in over the last twenty seasons. That means that collectively all of the other teams have winning divisional records because Washington sucks so badly against them.

I've brought this up many times in the past, and twenty years of data, with the results of nearly 1,500 games played among the four teams, bear this out: The other three teams in the division step it up for divisional games, while Washington brings it down.

Week to week league, short week for the Eagles, division game, anything can and often does happen.

I don't have any expectations for the defense. They'll get boat raced. All I'd would ask from them is a couple of turnovers. If we can get more a 2nd h performance from last week from the offense and maybe a turnover or two then why not? Short week for Philly but it'll be like a home game for them lol.

One other thing is the o-line. They may be on roller skates this week..
