Around the NFL Week 16
Didn't realize basically all the games will be played on Saturday this week. Makes sense.
I'm hoping where I'll be for X-Mas has 2 games broadcasted in the late afternoon games. For some reason it's always 1 game at 1:00 p.m. and 2 games at 4:00 p.m. or visa versa. There has to be some reason that involves money, but it's so annoying that there aren't 2 games on at both times every week. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
Steelers HoF running back Franco Harris dies at 72. Two days before the 50th anniversary of the "Immaculate Reception."

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
Loved the 70’s Steelers and they’re legendary backfield of Franco Harris, Rocky Bleier and Frenchie Fuqua. RIP Franco, loved watching you play.

The last game GB likely wont have anything to play for so Love may be starting for them, Lions could very easily go 3-0, whereas it will be tough for us to go 2-1. Lions are more likely than Seattle to get the last wildcard |

Here's to extremely bad weather for the Lions vs. Packers game. That will even out the odds a bit, even if Love is playing. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 16
If the lions win out and make the playoffs after starting 1-6 that would be just incredible. Campbell should be COY if that’s the case. Goff hasn’t had a bad game in a while… he’s got to be due at some point

What took them so long? Just sad that he doesn't get to enjoy his day. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I heard Franco did a radio interview a few hours before passing.
Rest In Peace |

Pittsburgh doesn't really retire numbers. There are only two officially retired numbers, Ernie Stautner and Joe Greene. Franco is going to make it three. |

I get it, just a shame they waited so long. Same thing with us and Bobby Mitchell. |

In fourth grade i did an oral book report about Rocky Bleier. He was missing a toe, I believe it happened in Viet Nam? Too lazy to fact check myself. Its crazy that Franco died almost to the day of the immaculate reception and on the verge of the Steelers retiring his number. Should have been done years ago though. |

He was injured by grenade blasts, a true hero badass. |

Pack playing alot better ball last few weeks. Ever since the Dallas comeback. Rodgers seems to actually give a shit again. I don’t wanna rely on Detroit losing. We just gotta win. |

Yes. Its all coming back to me now. Its weird I picked a Steeler. Was already a big Skins fan at that point. Probably just couldn’t find any books about a Redskin in the late 70’s in our little public school library. Lol. |

Yup him and Doubs playing well have totally invigorated Rodgers. I just hope that he still gives a crap when they are playing for nothing. I can see him throwing in the towel and sulking at that point. Such a drama queen. |

Yeah but if that drama queen was our QB, we'd be competing for a first round bye in the playoffs. |

Why aren't the Jets playing Flacco? Their head coach is an idiot. This is why I do not want defense first head coaches. He is playing Wilson and some guy I have never heard of and neither can throw a forward pass. Wilson is garbage. Total bust of a pick.

It seems like the defense first HC are not as successful anymore and I think it’s for a good reason. They all think you can win with average QB play. What has BB done without TB12? Nothing. Wilson definitely a bust. He’ll be cut after this season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
Why it's impossible for most teams to have a good to amazing QB:
That would require 17 good to amazing QBs playing at any given time. There's always less than that. It never changes. Guys wash out, new guys come in, and yet there is never enough good QBs to go around. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
The highlight of Zach Wilson's NFL career will be banging his mom's best friend.

If so I imagine that leads to a lot of stunted growth at the QB position. |

Around the NFL Week 16
Go Chiefs. Go Panthers. Would take a whole lotta stress outta our game and we would be in the playoffs for Christmas. If we win its almost a slam dunk
Amazingly another loss today, provided the Panthers and Chiefs win would actually give us a first round against Minny instead of SF. |
