Around the NFL Week 15

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
How much has changed in a few weeks. Eagles are dropping already and probably won't even win the division. I'd bet on a Cowboys or 49ers v Ravens SB, and I'd even say it could be a one sided NFC win especially if its the 49ers. I really want to see Dallas get stuffed in the 1st round, but I just can't see it happening, especially as Zeke isn't around to play centre any more...

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
TIL (today I learned) Flacco is still in the NFL.
Good for him. Gotta point and laugh at CLE for giving Watson that huge payout. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
My dark horse is the rams, they will sneak into the playoffs.

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
It's crazy the gap between great, marginal and no good teams but still... any given Sunday. I don't know what to expect down the stretch here.

I caught the end of the Browns game and Flacco was definitely dealing. He's 38 but it feels like he's been around even longer than that.

Commanders informed CB Danny Johnson — who was re-signed to a two-year deal that included $2.75 million guaranteed in March — that they are releasing him, per sources. He now will be subject to waivers.

Just saw that, bit weird, he is not a long term solution but they gave him lots of guaranteed dollars and its not as if we have loads of good young DBs needing playing time |

Theres the answer
Nicki Jhabvala The Commanders claimed CB Kyu Blu Kelly off waivers from Green Bay, per source.
|

Does anyone else have the homepage of this site show-up with an all-white background? All of the rest of the pages look normal, like if I click on thread group page, it's perfectly normal. It's doing it on Edge and Chrome.

You know what else is weird? Playing a zone and signing a man cover corner like WJ3 then this year switching to mostly man and drafting a zone corner in the first. I really don't know what this organization is thinking 99% of the time. It is like playing chess against a chimpanzee good luck predicting the next move. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Watching San Diego tells me everything about QB play .. Herbert is highly regarded as a top level QB yet it is not looking good .. the coaches are bad and whatever else just ain't working .. I wonder if The Chargers are gonna move On from Herbert and draft a QB in the top of first round ?? Based on the way some view QB's that what they should do😳.. of course I'm pointing out the obvious that no matter how great the QB is supposed to be without support cast it ain't gonna work .. let's build around Sam

Herbert is out for the season. That was their back up playing yesterday. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Staley is completely fucking delusional. Raiders went from 0 points to 63 points. And he's like:

What a surprise...
Wonder if this makes Chargers (LA market) a better option for a top coach than us come January? |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Yes.

Allen Ekeler, etc.,. etc.). They also have key players in the defense (Bosa, etc., etc.). Cons: tough division, win-now expectations, coach/GM will need to work with existing roster/players. |

The AFC West isn't any tougher than the NFC East if we're talking about the top 3. Every team wants to "win now". The new GM/Coach here will have to work with the existing roster/players too. There's a lot more work to be done here in my opinion before this team is a contender. LA just needs a HC who can get out of his own way. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
The owner there has a bit of a reputation for being cheap when it comes to hiring coaches. Could have had Sean Payton last year. I don't know Harris' record on hiring when it comes to paying coaches but that will play a part and may make good candidates think twice about the Chargers, that and the fact they will always be the junior partner to the Rams whilst they share that stadium

Chargers have had relative success compared to our team. We are going to be in a rebuilding mode, and I don't think anyone realistically expects our team to be a playoff contender right away. I'm not saying we shouldn't, but the new Chargers HC will have a shorter leash since they are not rebuilding and have seen recent success. And yes, the new GM/HC here will need to work with existing players, but the advantage of being on rebuild mode is that there are no realistic expectations to keep any player. I highly doubt that a new Chargers GM/Coach will be able to easily move on from Herbert or Bosa, whereas the new GM/Coach here will be able to do pretty much anything with the existing roster. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
The colts have also turned their franchise around in a very short time span. It’s all about Coaching and QB play. Mindshew has been awesome lately.
Sam Howell is going to be legit if they can build around him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Tonight could be a good one. Would be a big victory for either team. All of the AFC will be rooting for Jacksonville except Ravens' fans.

Jaguars actively trying to lose. 2 missed FGs, unforced fumble, then threw short of the endzone.

Re: Around the NFL Week 15
Make that 10-7 Ravens now. Finally, Jaguars break through on a big play.

Cowboys completely embarrassed.
They are terrible on the road. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
You could argue the same about the Bills and Dolphins. Funny old league.
