2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

I'm pulling for a Browns vs. Lions Super Bowl. I'll pick a new favorite(s) as those teams get eliminated.

2 fan bases who couldn't be more deserving.

Those would be fun stories. Although if they both make it to the superbowl it might set off Armageddon

I would absolutely love it if that was the case.

And it would be oh so sweet knowing that Flacco would be the one taking the Browns to the big game instead of Tuggy Watson.

As usual I find myself rooting for the teams who deserve it the most in the playoffs. Hopefully next year we can add the Commies to that list.

My thread apparently got lost in the sauce today so I'm reposting this here.

Some really cool matchups this weekend.

Dolphins at Chiefs - Tyreek Hill homecoming
Packers at Cowboys - Mike McCarthy vs. the guy who replaced him
Browns at Texans - Tuggy Watson watches his new team play his old team
Rams at Lions - The Goff/Stafford reunion tour

A shocker in Seattle: Pete Carroll is expected to be out as the Seahawks head coach, per sources. He still could remain in the organization, but not as the head coach.

That came out of nowhere. I saw that they are interested in Dan Quinn.

Just to point out, for those that aren't a fan of "retreads", how did Pete Carroll work out? Not too shabby.

the retread argument is kind of weak; most job postings anywhere require experience

Gotta be Quinn and I believe this is probably a mutual parting with Carroll saying it’s time, he’s pretty damn old.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

I'd class a retread was a guy with a poor to mediocre history that keeps getting a new chance. Carroll isn't a retread.

F the browns and Watson.

Browns vs. Lions would be great.

Re: 2023 NFL Post-Season Thread

I too would love the Lions v Browns, but unlikely. AFC is probably more open than NFC, but all roads lead through Baltimore and SF. Neither are infallible, but nobody else is clearly as strong based on late season performance. And neither are backing or scraping into the playoffs (cough Eagles cough).

Literally the only reason I'm rooting for them. Tuggy Watson can go fuck himself - it would be hilarious if Flacco took them to the Superbowl.

That would be awesome. My good friend is a Browns fan, so I'm definitely rooting for them.

Bucs or Lions will be playing for the NFC Championship/Super Bowl berth.

Another Chiefs/Bills playoff game. That should be the best one of the weekend. Go Bills!

Detroit rock city for me. Also pulling for the Bills

Also wouldn’t mind it if Tampa Bay…home to the world famous Mons Venus…keeps rolling with Baker and Bowles

I like the Chiefs but the Bills need to taste some postseason success - rooting for them this weekend. Rooting for the Lions and 49ers too. Texans as well, Baltimore I feel like has a good team every year.

“Mr. Irsay continues to recover from his respiratory illness," the Colts said”

If you aren't, root for Jerry Jones to retain him.
