F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
Seriously fuck these guys
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
this is my two touchdown rule game
if we go down by more then two touchdowns i am doing something else or watching a different game i really don't see a path to beating them |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
This would such a HUGE victory. Will be tough. Go Commanders!!
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
They'll have to play a lot better than they did last week.
Fuck the eagles. |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
Had a dream we win this one 14-9
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
I'm looking forward to the Lattimore/Brown matchup......it could make all the difference in a close game.....

i had a more realistic dream of me banging cindy crawford, lol |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
john allen could be back for the ATL game
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
I need us to keep it competitive which I think we can do.
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
JD keeps us in the game but Eagles will be a step ahead of us.
Eagles 34 Commanders 24 |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
Stack the box, hope that Lattimore can lock down A.J., then make everyone not named Barkley/Brown beat us.
Tough sledding for us on defense. Eagles - 17 Commandos - 19 Note - If Lattimore has a good game again, that trade is going to look very nice for us. |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
JD could seal rookie of the year with a huge victory here. I honestly think he's a better passer than Hurts and is faster. Also feel he was hurt at Philly. This could be the game that leaves no doubt he's a superstar.
Let's go Commanders! |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
It's hard for me to predict a win here. Crazier things have happened though, so we shall see. I certainly think we could pull it off, but it will take a nearly perfect game. While the Eagles have won 10 in a row (or whatever), they aren't invincible.
A win here would go a long way to building confidence for the playoff run. |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
We were leading at halftime of the earlier game this season. The key to beating them is to contain Barkley and Brown. Know it's very hard but that's the formula. Playcalling and turnovers will be huge in this game.
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
Man, Lattimore could really show his value this week if he can lock down Brown
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
It's a divisional game, and they tend to break the trend. The Giants and Cowboys games were tighter than they should have been with the way both those teams have played this season. We had the edge over the Eagles in the 1st game until the 2nd half; because we couldn't out play their D. Same applied here I think. If we can play better O than last week (particularly 2nd half), Lattimore can shut down Brown and we keep Hurts and Barkley contained, then we have every chance of winning. But we must do all 3. I don't really see it happening, but, like I said, its a divisional game and they're always different.
Man, Lattimore could really show his value this week if he can lock down Brown
This x1000. This is what we need. Brown can take over games and gets frustrated when he doesn't get the ball. Lattimore needs to own him Sunday.

Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
We have an excellent chance to win this Sunday for several reasons:
1 - JD5 is healthier and playing at a MVP level 1a - McClauren is playing out of his mind 2 - Lattimore and Sainristil can and will be lockdown on Brown/Smith freeing up players to spy Hurts and Barkley 3 - Eagles Oline and Barkley all were playing hurt at the end of their last game 4 - we are playing at home, and the stadium is finally a home field advantage 5 - we are due for some good breaks 6 - f the iggles Washington 31 Philly 20 Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |

^cred putting it down
Good on paper, but I could see a win as well |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
I hope this is like the Steelers game a few years back, where they were like 10-0 and we sent them packing. Let's ruin another PA winning streak.

We need to move up from the 7th seed to the 6th seed....we need this win...

We make the playoffs I'm happy. Don't care what seed. Let's just get in the dance. Minus a miracle run, we're not winning the Super Bowl regardless. I just want this team with this QB to get the taste. |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
First game we could not take advantage of good field position in first half. This time we will. 31-17 us.
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
The defense needs to contain Sequan.
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
I think we pull the upset this week! JD5 solidifies his ROY
28-24 |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
jd5 going get his first real cold test sunday
|
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
Did we have B Rob for the first game against the Eagles ? I don't think we did......if B Rob can break loose then Cliff can use the play action pass to counter Philly's pass defense.....running the football is key.

Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
that is true ...

Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
I like to be more pragmatic with my expectations. The Eagles have really good corners, Quinyon Mitchell in particular is having one of the best rookie seasons by a corner in a while. Before their bye he was averaging 6 targets a game, after the bye? 3 targets a game. First matchup? He effectively shut down Terry, who had 2 targets (and 1 reception for 10 yards).
So if we're gonna win this one we need other guys to step up. Ekeler and Ertz combined for 14 receptions the first game, and they're both out most likely. So one of our unheralded players needs to step up. McCaffrey? McNichols? Dyami Brown? Ben Sinnott? John Bates? We're looking at you. To really put it in perspective, the numbers from our first matchup: Ekeler/Ertz: 14 receptions for 136 yards on 16 targets. Bates, McLaurin, Zaccheaus, Robinson Jr, N. Brown, D. Brown, McNichols, McCaffrey: 8 receptions for 55 yards on 16 targets. Run game: We ran for 93 yards on 28 attempts for a 3.3 average. JD had 18 yards on 7 attempts for a 2.6 average. Verdict? Offense is gonna have to step up tremendously for us to even have a shot. We kept the score close for 3 quarters last time until our defense got exhausted and they broke us in the 4th quarter. Our top two targets from last time are out so we need some of our lesser known guys to step up. Assuming McLaurin gets blanketed by Mitchell again we need everybody on this one. Kingsbury also needs to get creative to get Terry Mac some looks. |
Re: F$ck the Eagles Pregame Thread
turnovers is key .. we cannot drop Interceptions that hit in the hands .. we cannot turn it over !! we have to play all 4 quarters !! to even have a chance .. i'll be screaming at tv all day 😄

None of that matters. You are correct, we beat ATL next week and we should get in, but it wouldn’t exactly be the upset of the century if we won tomorrow. |

I know its divisional, and all of the other stuff goes out the window. I know that JD gives us a good chance. I know that they looked bad against the panthers. But our 2nd half didnt look good against the saints, and they handled the steelers. I think if we can keep barkley in check, and have ML on brown, we have a chance.....but honestly the eagles are a better all around team. I hope its competitive, but I try to temper my expectations. we lose in a close one till the 4th when they open it up. 35-24. |

We have a rested team that will be in rhythm, Philly now has a team that has played 10 straight and are feeling the strain (look at their line and barkley last week). We are at home, and will get the win and it won't be close unless we have a 4th quarter flop again. Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk |

We have to have minimal mistakes and 0 turnovers. A recipe to beat the great teams. McLaurin and others needs to get open. Will be a tough game but not impossible. Imagine Northwest Field will be rocking for this one.
