Now for the REDSKINS, is this good or bad news. I think I might even rather have him at training camp, whining and b*tching like a little girl and causing chaos there, than sitting at home. What do you guys think?

I gotta disagree. I was definately rooting for a protracted holdout. Shenanigans aside, he's one of the best by far at his position.

Exactly. The NFL is not like the NBA. People arent fans of players, they are fans of teams. Thats why when Arrington whined, we all sided with the Skins'. Thats why with the Coles siutation, we were pissed, but sided with the Skins. Very few, if ANY Eagle fans are going to sympathise with this guy.

Pretty much no one is going to sympathise with a guy making 49 million dollars who just wants to "Take care of his family"... give me a freaking break.

I'm with you on this one. He's unlike a Mr. R. Moss from Oakland. He can bitch and moan all he wants during the offseason but once it's time to start playing TO isn't one to half-ass it

One of my best friends is an iggles fan. He's totally cool and real passive. We were talking about TO the other day, and he said, "Fuck him. He's just a headache." I have a feeling that might be the feeling of a lot of the fans. Talented as he is, football is not a one man sport.

On the surface a T.O. hold out would have been fantastic: a protracted hold-out followed by endless questions lobbed at Banner, Reid, McNabb etc... However, this has a small silver lining. They drafted Reggie Brown to be their "heir-apparent" WR and their officials were quietly liking the fact that he would get first team reps with Terrell sitting out. Mortensen and/or Palantonio mentioned this at the beginning of the summer. I would have prefered an ugly divorce but after the ESPY situation last week there are no mended fences between McNabb and T.O. which has to upset team chemistry and sync.
