What game are you looking forward to???

Ok so the season is coming fast and lets see what game everyone is looking forward to other than the eagles and cowboys. Our schedule has us playing a lot of good teams this year. So the game I can't wait to see is week 4 at Denver. Champ vs. Portis. We all know Portis is gonna come in there and run every player of Denver into the ground.

Aside from the obvious division matchups, I want to see Norval's return to FedEx

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

The Bears game. Our first game could answer alot of questions to how our season may go. I feel we need to beat the Bears and then get a bigger boost by beating the Cowboys. That will put us into our by week with alot of positives to go with.

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

Can we PLEASE beat the friggin cowroids?!?!?! I can not deal with this anymore. The rest is gravy.

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

But other than that, kicking Champs ass would be nice.

Hell, I'm pumped for this weekend's SCRIMMAGE. I just want some football.

gortiz 08-01-2005 01:45 PM

It would have to be the Bears....over and over, and over, I all I keep seeing is the number eight freaking teen! 18! how long will it take us to get over 18! I know we'll do it, and probably quick, but it's just a mental thing!

I was just about to post the same exact thing. I'm really eager to see how our offense has improved. We have a good first test with a quality defense in Baltimore. I'm definitely going to be up there. I'm treating it like a real game.

I swear football is like crack. I've had the WORST withdrawls. Madden just ain't cutting it no more.

First of all - the Bears. Not only are they first, but they aren't exactly Grade-A opponents. It would be nice to start off the year with a decisive win.

I also am holding a spot in my heart for the Cards. We've had their number for a few years (who hasn't?), and I'm flying out this year with the family for the game.

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

For me there are a lot of ones. These aren't in particular order, just games i know i am not gonna miss.

Raiders at Redskins: Norv returns to Fedex for the first time as a head coach of another team. Not to mention a healthy randy moss will be coming back too. I'm sure he hasn't forgotten about how he walked off. I think he is gonna want to give us some payback.

Redskins vs Cowboys: I think both games are games that skins fans can't wait for, so we can break the cowboy's hold on us and show them we are better.

Redskins vs. Broncos: Portis vs. Champ. need i say more?

I'm actually most anxious for the Philly games. If we can take one or both of those it will show we are for real provided we can back that up by beating the teams we are SUPPOSED to beat.

Good point. And I expect to win at least one against Philly. Division games are so unpredictable. I mean, didn't Miami beat New England last year? And I think San Fran had two wins all year, both against Arizona. Then of course, there is how Dallas beats us no matter what. (uggg). Anway, I'd like to see us being the upsetters, versus the upsetted. I would put money on us winning at least one game against Philly. Now, don't ask me to bet on beating Dallas. Sorry, just can't do it. Yet!!

I like the Denver matchup, but I kinda expect to win that one. I am really looking forward to the Oakland game againt Moss and the San Diego game vs Gates.

I like the Denver matchup too. Anyone feeling Clarett starting by then?

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

If we can win some of the games against playoff caliber teams it would make me feel really good. After all these seasons I look at the schedule and see who the slouches are and say "We should beat them". I'll be glad when I see us beat a good team so I can believe we can beat anyone!

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

True, because last year when I think about what wins we "did" have besides the Tampa Bay one and Giants one, none of them were real impressive.

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

When I say that, I mean we should have stomped the dog shit out of the Bears and Lions...

Kicking the Vikings ass in the last game of the year when they thought their playoff hopes could be on the line until the last minute of the game was pretty impressive to me.

I'd have to say the Raiders are the game I'm most looking foreward to. It'll be a test of our running game and I want Warren Sapp pancaked all day long. I'd also like to see if that other guy named "moss" walks off the field early again. I loved seeing that replay over and over and over and over this offseason.

I am looking forward to the Giants game Oct 30th. It will be my first time in New York since the 1st grade. :food-smil The Rams game will be fun too. Never been to St.Louis and a bunch of us are going so it should be cool.
Other then that can we please beat the freeking Cowboys. :banghead:

Ahh, touche! I completely forgot about that one. (And how could I?! It was probably our most impressive win and this was WITHOUT Portis)

Re: What game are you looking forward to???

I am looking forward to the Raiders game as well. On paper it should challenge our D...

BUt you have to win the divisional games. If we could beat Dallas every year like they beat us we would hae been a playoff team about 5 or 6 seasons more since 1992...

Bears, mostly because i am going to it but also because it is the first game of the year, we will see how our team really is and see our offense against a good defense

I'm looking forward to the game at Tampa Bay... I want to see Portis break off his first run of the game for 60+ yards... then hear the Bucs fans cry about it.
