Lavar Speaks!
Check it out, up on skins.com now.
Lavar Man--he is a trip! He's like a coiled spring ready to snap--he's got this devious smile, says "people say I'm washed up, maybe it's true, we'll see...it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds" etc. I think he's going to try to kill people this year. He says he always carries a chip on his shoulder. Right on. Calls himself "Mind Hunter"--says he's always hunting minds, trying to find out what's going on, what people are up to. He is a beast. Very good to see him speak. I can't wait to see him in action. :biggthump |
Also, there is another kick-ass Gregg Williams presser up now on skins.com. Man, he rules! Just hearing him speak makes me want to go smash something. :headbange

Re: Lavar Speaks!
as i was watching it i just started listening and then noticed i had a big smile on my face

Re: Lavar Speaks!
I guess I'm not alone - Lavar seemed almost like he had a secret...
I think LA expects BIG things and he is not about to spoil it by throwing out useless catch phrases ... I was cracking up just hearing him. |
Re: Lavar Speaks!
seeing that, i can't tell if Lavar is being extra emotional (even for him) and humble or frankly a bit doubtful. does anyone really know the extent of his injury? and who's been calling him 'washed up'?
personally, i can't wait to see his first sack or tackle behind the line, but i don't trust him to take himself out of a game if he's hurt, he's waited too long. |
Re: Lavar Speaks!
He just seems really eager to get back on the field and let his actions speak for him.
|
Re: Lavar Speaks!
That's just Lavar being Lavar. He is going to womp some asses this year. I want to see a freakish athelete like him used appropriately by Lindsey, and Williams. I think Lavar is feared more than any player on the team, Sean Taylor a close second. :FIREdevil

Re: Lavar Speaks!
yeah, looking back, everyone's right. he's just trying to maintain his pent up energy. i pity Roethlisberger. LaVar better save some for the regular season!
|
Re: Lavar Speaks!
i'm so glad he's back. i think lavar is gonna have a monster season this year, i think he was being humble with the media, but i also think that he's gonna be headhunting come the regular season.

Re: Lavar Speaks!

Come on, where's the confidence? I want to see him kick butt from September 11 through February 5th! :D |
Re: Lavar Speaks!
Show LA some love people. He needs it more than ever. :oink:
|
Re: Lavar Speaks!
It's going to be sweet to see him live this Friday for his first time back. Too bad my seats are crazy high.

Re: Lavar Speaks!
Make some noise, Malcolm. Lavar will hear you!
|
Re: Lavar Speaks!
i think lavar has visited fan forums from time to time and takes some of the shit talk for more than its worth... maybe he saw the D be good without him and saw the fans are rooting for the team and not one individual player (only QBs and some RBs get solo love)... either way, glad to have him back, hope he has a career year.

Re: Lavar Speaks!
anyone at the game:
go absolutely crazy and wear your 56, get your neighboring fans to scream too. unlike most players, LA not only responds to this, he's wants it and should get it. |
