New uniform ideas
 

Not that I think we need a change. I was just thinking about what would be cool to look at. How about gold jerseys with a decal on each selve with maybe stripes along with burgundy numbers and and gold helmets with and arrow as a decal like the throwback decal. Pants would be burgundy. Any other ideas?

If this has been discussed lately nevermind due to me not being a frequent enough visitor.

i kinda like Clinton Portis's additions to the uniform which have apparently been made official, the burgundy "home" socks with the burgundy "away" pants. having them all the same color makes em look more athletic.

that said, i think the Skins uniform is one of the best in the league and wouldn't change much if at all (numbers on the top of the pads instead of the side?). the gold should stay as a highlight and thats it, anything else would be annoying. there are teams that are much worse off. all the NY teams need to go back to their 80s uniforms, the Gints need to lose that grey and the Jets desperately need to go back to their all-greens with the Jet helmet.

besides the skins, the browns and jets are great looking jerseys. the 80's jets was the worst jersey ever besides the bungals late 70's early 80's jersey... ooops and tampa's cheeto orange

Yeah if we did any change, I would keep the same color helmet and return to the spear and feather....

Maybe burgundy on burgundy...I think the all white is alittle too much.

They'd need to be very careful cuz they have one of the best uniforms in the league and I don't to see them come up with something retarded looking like the new Detroit Lions uniforms. I like our white on white unis, but I agree with that guy, the powder blue Charger jerseys are the sweetest jerseys ever.

i liked the dark burgandy from the throw back jerseys we wore in the mid 90's. i didnt like the pants though. i wouldnt mind seeing the dark jerseys with white pants.

i also like our alternate all white uniform.

I found a picture: i would like to see the logo updated. and have the whte pants with the darker stripe on the sides wtih dark socks.

what about a black jersey with burgundy numbers outlined in gold. pants burgundy. socks burgundy. shoes black. standard helmet.

if i was to do anything...id hook up the helmet a little bit, i didnt think the throw backs looked all that bad.

too many college teams use the spear. but the helmet with those two feathers running up the back is CLASSIC. i'd bring THAT back. would look great with the current uniforms too, keeping the yellow facemask.

You know, the Bengals uniforms were disgusting before, and now they've made them even worse.

On a separate subject, it occured to me awhile back that NFL coaches no longer wore suits the way Tom Landry and Dan Reeves used to. I had no idea the NFL had a rule against it though. The thing I don't get is how the NBA coaches wear them. They seem to be the most vocal and animated of all the sports, yet they sweat, scream, shout, and go completely berzerk in Gucci and Versace. Bobby Knight is the only coach I can think of who doesn't dress up ... and that's probably wise.

this is off topic but in the section about the skins socks, I love that picture of the steelers game. the expression of Griffin in the background is priceless.
