Im here when we win, Im here when we lose

I must be getting older because I can appreciate a football game like that even if it's at my own teams expense

So what sympathy gets ya? ;)

The rematch goes from ho hum to rivalry once again in 5 minutes

Once again, great job

Honestly....we really do deserve that, LOL.

I appreciate the class my man, especially since I had some not so nice things to say after last years MNF.

most crucial play of the game was Brunell's long run on 3rd down to make it a 4th a short.

you know after living in jax for awhile after brunell got hurt i didnt think he would ever get back. and he may not ever be like he used to but its a team effort and he can do his part i think.

Re: That was a great game...

I don't know if it was just one play. How about that hit Taylor put on that WR who had the 1st down? Or the kicker who saved a TD? OR either of the 2 TDs?

BleedBurgundy 09-20-2005 01:46 AM

Re: That was a great game...

Taylor's hit on that receiver was like the cigarette after banging your worst enemy's wife.

I totally agree Hijinx. Each one was huge. But the 70 bomb to Santana to take the lead--and to rip the life out of Texas Stadium--it doesn't get much sweeter than that! :biggthump

thanks for the props.. if we had lost i'd be soo mad at the 56chunk of bad offense, but we pulled it out so no one has to die :)

And what the hell was the call? An incomplete pass. Get the hell out of hear. Your'e looking at three TDs in 2:37 seconds. Walt Harris picked the ball up and was going the distance. Bum ass referees didn't want us to humiliate them at home, but it happened anyway. What a defense? Two stops.
