Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
Redskins quarterback Patrick Ramsey, a former starter, has requested a trade and has interest in playing for Miami, a close associate said. But keep this in mind: Ramsey ranked 31st in deep-completion percentage last season (according to Scientific Football 2005) and struggled with decision-making when hurried. ''Ramsey can't play,'' Fox's Jimmy Johnson said. www.miamiherald.com

Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I haven't heard anything about a Miami-Washington trade for Ramsey. Are you sure that you aren't talking about Miami's former interest in Ramsey? Besides, it looks like they are doing fine with Gus down in Florida.

Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
the article was from the 25th...
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
Gus isn't their long-term answer obviously.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are still interested. |
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I think this more about Ramsey's interest in Miami rather than the other way around
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
why they need another 'Skin? they already got Sage Rosenfels

Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I thought it was a wall...hmmm. :banghead:
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I'm confident it was a padded section of wall near the tunnel.
Anyone? |
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
It was the wall, I remember it like it was yesterday.....
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
definitely the wall
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday

Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
It was the wall, he ran for a score threw the ball at the wall then tucked his head and rammed this head into it. When he hit the wall it buckled his head dowm hurting his neck. We were playing the Giants and we ended up tying the game after neither team could score in over time. If I'm correct if we would have won and not tied the game at the end of the year we would have made the playoffs. The funnest part was at the next home game fans hung bulleyes on the wall that said hit me here.

Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I remember the game well, it was on my birthday. :(
Westbrook slammed his helmet drawing a penalty and pushing the team out of FG range... Gus was a bonehead for slamming his head against a wall, but Westbrook was the real idiot in that game. |
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
yea I remember the game...lame...
We should have taken the first round draft pick from Miami when we had the chance. |
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
really? why'd i think it was the field goal post? man, i was embarassed to be a Skins fan for a week back then..
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
clearly youve tried to knock your head against a wall post to try and forget about that day
|
Re: Ramsey news in Miami Paper Yesterday
I remember the wall...
But what's with this rumor? I smell Jimmy Sexton, Ramsey's agent. This is his MO--I don't even know if Ramsey OKs it. Whatever. I doubt we trade him: we need him as a backup! Plus, Brunnell isn't young. This is an agent keeping his player's name in the news, IMO. |
