Homecoming of a Redskins Fan

Homecoming of a Redskins Fan

My son Tony is leaving IRAQ today and after a week in Kuiet[sp?] will be on his way home to here in Virginia. YEAH!!!!

I spoke with him during the Redskins game when he called here as he was following the game at nfl.com. You could here him and his buddies scream and raise hell when we scored. He has a Portis jersey ordered and on the way here soon too.

When he gets here I'll have a Redskins Warpath Round up and any and all of you are invited to come over, watch the game and meet Tony [Honey I just invited 2000+ folks for BBQ!]

I am VERY proud of my son for his efforts for his Country.

I think I am making this post because all of a sudden I am very scared for him. I just want him home and safe and back with his mother. If you pray...please pray for his safe return. If you don't pray then just wish him well in yer heart and head.

Hail to the Redskins!
Hail to our American Troops Everywhere!
Hail to you Redskins Fans
Hail with dalASS!

peace
mike

He is to be stationed near us here in Northern Virginia at Ft. Belvoir and already has his Unit and Commander. He get's about 2 months off before having to report which will be nice. We'll get him to a game somehow this year too!

THANK YOU for your kind words of support.
peace

mike
If funds are a problem I'm willing to chip in on a ticket for him and one of his buddies (a skins fan of course) which he is serving with to go to a game. These guys have given alot to this country and I would think we could get them to a game this year. Anyone have any suggestions. Maybe someone could find some tickets to the Dallas game and we could start a thread to raise money for the game and a little extra for spending cash.

Lord, deliver Tony safe and sound, and give him traveling mercies! As a Viet Nam Vet, Lord, I salute, (Pause) (Salute) and give thanks to those still serving, and for those who have fulfilled their commitments, and are able to return to their families. Lord, for those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, I pray their famlies would be free from pain and suffering, realizing that their loved ones are in your ever-lasting arms! I thank you for our One Nation, Under you, Oh Lord! All in due respect to you Jesus, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us! Amen!
I would chip in to help get him to a game...its the least we can do as citizens of this great nation.Matty...kick up the fund raiser!!!!
When I suggested chiping in and raising some money to send him and maybe one of his buddies (a skins fan) I was hoping maybe somebody could come up with some tickets and prices so we would know how much to raise. If anyone has or knows where we could score some tickets please help. Then maybe we could have Matty or someone set it up so anyone who wanted to donate could. We could raise enough money for the tickets and a little extra for some spending cash. I agree it the least we could do for a couple of men who have given so much to their country.Maybe Sammy Baugh Fan could talk to his son and see when and which game he may want to go to.This is just one suggestion.

Tony called from Kuweit.
Said it may take longer to get from there. May be as late as Nov. 11. But he is out of the war zone and relaxing with his buddies.

Seems he learned what Cham"pain" does to yer head the next day. hahaha

That's my boy!

Glad to hear your Son Tony is coming home. Without the sacrifices of brave Americans like your boy this great Country wouldn't be where it is today.
So a big thank you goes out to your Son and the rest of his Brothers in the armed services that put themselves in harms way for the better of are Country. They really really are true heros.

Ft.Belvoir is not a bad place to be stationed. I used to shop at the PX there as a kid all the time with my Grandma. Sure beats beeing stationed in New Mexico or some place off the beatan path.
Let us now about getting tic's to a Redskins game for your Boy.The Cowgirls game would be a good one.Dec24th. I would be happy to contribute. Hope you see your Son home soon SammyBaughFan.My prayers are with Him.

peace
Congrats, I was serious with the offer to chip in for skins tickets for him and a buddy that serves with him (a skins fan of course). Maybe you could look into finding out what game he would want to go to and seeing if you could locate some tickets. Others expressed an interest so see what you can find out and keep us informed.

Glad to hear that things are going well for you Sammy and especially your son. If he ever needs a ticket just give me a shout and he is sitting right next to me if that means anything. I will even wear my Pink R hat (Just a little jab at ya) But make sure you thank him cause I myself so dearly appreciate his great sacrifice and effort.
