TO starting things in Philly again...

http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/index

Over on ESPN, I just watched a video clip of TO saying that he thinks that the Eagles would be undefeated if they had B. Favre instead of McNabb under center. Also I guess that he is selling his house. Asked if Philly fans should be worried that he is selling his house, his response was that "maybe" there is something behind it causing him to sell it. Also he was asked if he will be playing on sunday night, he said that he is closer to playing than not playing.

If I knew how to link the video to this post I would. But it is funny how he still really hasn't forgiven McChoke yet...

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

I don't like Mcnugget but no one could ever say that he hasn't played through injuries and isn't a tough SOB and TO is just further showing what a joke of a person he is. I know I personally can't wait for him to just drop off the face of the earth so he can spend all of his time telling himself how great he is and that it's always the people around him and not himself that keeps holding the teams he goes to from becoming the complete team.

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Don't care if they put Harold Carmichael out there Sunday night. We are gonna win. TO and McNabb are both tough players and competitors and I'd pay $79 to see them fight it out on the sideline... Honestly I have to admit I enjoyed seeing an injured TO beat an injured Champ for a 91 yd TD when it wasn't against the Redskins. Let's hope Sean Taylor gets to whisper in TO's ear on Prime Time!!!

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Yeah, I agree that TO and McNabb are both tough competitors, but you have to think that McNabb has to be getting sick of TO saying that McNabb can not get it done and that an old near retirement QB in Favre can. That has to eat at McNabb somewhat...

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

HA TWO on SPortscenter just said that the eagles forgot his 100th TD. He said that the organization sucks and that they purposely forgot it. he said they knew and didn't care. HE seemed bitter and said that if it was someone else they would not only anounce it they would be sending fireworks up around the stadium.

He said they say they are first class and this shows what type of class they have. He says he will play against the skins

o here is the quote from the article but it was more funny on video

"Owens also hard harsh things to say about the Eagles for not publically recognizing his 100th career touchdown catch Oct. 23 at home against the Chargers.

"That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be," said Owens, who became the sixth receiver in NFL history to reach the milestone. "They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."

 :laughing2 :laughing2 :laughing- :thumb: :D :)

THAT is TRULY amazing! The level of ass holery stuns me, even for TO. Mcnabb shoould tape up his "sports hernia" and go KICK HIS ASS! Hell, I'll drive the car and hold him. Sadly, no matter what a piece of garbage he is, he will always have a job, as long as his talent holds-he can always call Al Davis! I am proud to say he is NOT Redskin material.

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Actually, I have a lot of respect for Donovan McNabb. He's taken the high road in this entire spat and really amazes me at how none of this seems to make its way onto the field. He continues to throw the ball to Owens and lets him put up big numbers. Even when the jabs started about him being a black quarterback a few years ago, he was a true professional. I'd take McNabb on my team any day. Not sure why you guys call him McChoke.

As for T.O.--I hope Taylor's cleats make him a eunuch.

TO is such a piece of trash, but I love that this is backfiring on the Eagles.

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

It's just unbelievable to me how much of an A$$HOLE this guy is. When he was in SF, all he could do was rip his QB (Garcia) and make enough disturbance to force a trade. But he wasn't going to be happy playing in Baltimore......all he wanted was to play with Donovan McNabb in Philly.......he, in fact, demanded that he become a Philadelphia Eagle.......and so he forced Baltimore and SF's hand and became an Eagle. Now, all he can do is rip his QB and cause enough of a disturbance to force yet another trade.

It's just unbelievable. First, if you're the Eagles and Andy Reed and Donovan McNabb, I say: Good For YOU! You're getting exactly what you deserve and exactly what you should have expected (and you still can't get a ring for it). Second, if you're T.O., don't you ever wake up, look in the mirror, and realize that there's a serious problem with you if you can't go anywhere and get along with anyone? I just can't believe anyone could go through life like T.O., CONSTANTLY believing that the reason you can't fit in anywhere is because the world is wrong and you are right. Third, to the DUMBASS franchise/coach/QB that goes after T.O. when he's on the trading block at the end of this season (and somebody will), under the serious disallusion that things will be different when he's playing for your team and when he's playing with your QB because that's what he says he wants; you'll get what you deserve: An egocentric, socially inept, premaddona WR who will do everything he can to criticize you publicly and tear you apart in a year or two. Have fun with that.

All I can say is thank God it's not us dealing with this 12-year old child. WAAAA!!!.....They didn't launch fireworks for me.....WAAAA!!!!.......I'm only getting 7 million dollars to play a game.......WAAA!!!!......my QB isn't good enough......WAAA!!!!......the world is out to get me.........WAAA!!!....I'm so unappreciated......

I Truly, TRULY Hate the little girl that is T.O.

Ok, I feel better now.

You really have to wonder if TO will every be happy, and if he's going to wear out his welcome sooner rather than later in the NFL.

Because he's such an incredible talent there will undoubtedly be teams willing to put up with his antics, but for how much longer is the question.

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...
I wonder if even the Eagles fans like him?
The answer is.......during training camp they booed the hell out of him and called for his outright release.

Then he scored a TD on the first play of the season and the lovefest was back on. Some have had enough, but most of them are stupid enough to go back to loving him and defending his antics.........which is just unbelievable to me.

If ANY Washington Redskin disrespected the team and his fellow players the way that T.O. has to the Eagles, is there ANY doubt that Redskin Nation would rise up together and call for his head on a platter? Regardless of how good he may be, I would like to think that Skins fans would put the team ahead of the player in a situation like this.

Honestly, I see no situation in which T.O. will ever be happy.....he's just to egocentric and immature to be happy on any team.

And I hope that the answer to the question is not for long. I suppose, however, that there will always be a team out there desparate enough for talent that he'll always have a job. Heck, if Ricky Williams could come back to the NFL and the Dolphins awaiting with open arms, after destroying his own team two years earlier, what's to stop a guy like T.O.? It's sad but true.

It's amazing - TO does everything right except for run his mouth. He's the hardest worker in practice, he puts in more time than anyone, and he plays hard, yet he ruins that by opening his mouth.

Also -- don't be too suprised to see the skins run at TO. The man that drafted him for the 49ers was Cerrato and he still loves him.

jermus22 11-04-2005 09:39 AM

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Yeah, I agree. Even though he does play hard and work hard, it certainly doesn't justify his rotten attitude. The guy is a cancer to his team's morale.

I love this stuff. I wonder if people will still praise Reid for his personnel decisions. Reid, and everyone else who cares about football, saw this train wreck (aka TO) coming two years ago and he still decided to climb on.

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

*whine whine* No one praised me for 100 TDs *whine whine*

TO's a punk, and will not be an Eagle next year. He knows this, so he's taking his jabs now.

Gibbs would never allow TO here..and if he did, I'd have him committed. For as hard as he works, and much of an impact he has on the field, his mouth will keep him from being the total package.

T.O. is just repeating what Michael Irving said on ESPN earlier this week and everyone else on the show just laughed at him. One Ass to another!

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Colin Cowherd just had on a reporter for Philly. Apparently, the locker room of the Eagles has had enough of TO............imagine that. I have not seen an IR report today, but they seem to be very concerned if McNabb will play. he has been downgraded to questionable? The more it unravels for them, the sweeter it is!

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

I think its backfired on the PR dept and team chemistry, but since TO is a top 3 WR right now, I don't think you can say its backfiring on the field.

there's really only one place where TO could find a better QB needing a WR, and that's minnesota, which will have a new coach next year and probably still be an underperforming mess... peyton doesn't need him, favre's got a great WR corp (when healthy :P)... brady could use him, but the pats refuse to pay anyone, much less asshats, and vick could use him, but if he's complaining about things in the most pass happy scheme (since martz left) how would he hold up in a pure rushing offense with a QB that can't pass?

he's seriously costing himself millions, causse if he shut up, he'd be able to go free agent and rob people, but when only 2-3 teams want you for 1-2 years contracts... well, the bidding wars and the excessive money just aren't there.

all i hope for is sean taylor to get one clean shot at owens.that will be the end of the talk.if redskin fans remember, the skins actually did a great job on owens in both games last year.other than the 10 yard touchdown,i think he only had 7 or 8 catches combined in both games

listening to ESPN, the Eagles are PO'd at TO (I like the way that sounds). Andy Reid is apparently considering suspension. TO is scheduled to appear on the Dan Lebatard show this PM. TO will undoubtedly put the final nails in his coffin at that point!!!!!! It's destiny, that we KICK THEIR ASS!!!!!!!!

I need links!!!

I was thinking about Owens being suspended on my drive to work this morning. When Keyshawn Johnson was suspended for "conduct detrimental to the team" in Tampa Bay two years ago, it was for a lot less than Terrell's latest foray into shredding his teammates. I can't help but wonder how Reid can continue to justify starting a guy who he:

a) Knows isn't going to play with his team next year,
b) Makes a point of blaming his teammates for losses, and
c) Vocally wishes he played with a different QB.

I'm not a football genius. OK, I am, but for the sake of conversation... What does it say to the 52 other guys on the roster when a cancer like this goes unchecked?

Re: TO starting things in Philly again...

Sonny Jurgensen said on a Redskins Report that when he wanted to make a point to a receiver, he would call that person's number on a crossing route and "hang the ball up there." Then he would let the safety do what safeties do. Imagine what Sean Taylor would do!!!

Maybe Andy Reid will call TO's number on a reverse play to the the Redskins weakside defense, right into Lavar Arrington's clutches.

A boy can dream, can't he?
