Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

ah sh*t.

Well, I said I'd be here all week before and after the game, and even though I am still waiting for Dallas to show up and get the game started - must have been a delay at the airport - I hear that the Irving High School JayVee team showed up and got beat.

Well, I can't find all of you all over this board, so I thought I would start a thread that would let you guys find me.

So Big Skin Bauer, you got Dallas and whooped us.

Bozzy, your grandpa didn't let you down. I actually thought of you and your grandpa during the game.

illdefined, I wish we had put up a better fight.

Ramseyfan, maybe Ramsey would've only beat us by 14.

Mattyk72, congratulations, you stuck with your team and they rewarded you.

Tafkas, let the playoff ticket sales begin.

dblanch66, thanks for the kind words, but we stunk it up. Let er rip.

Scheed10, you must be feeling pretty good today.

onlydarksets, your team has got as much or more momentum as any in the league.

BrudLee, I know there will be a WPP this week. Gotta put the Skins in the top 6-7 after that win. Put Dallas 18th or something. With the rest of the 8-8 teams.

Anyone I may have forgotten, congratulations, and let the Crow eating festival begin.

(Next year i hope to be in DC for the game. The atmosphere was electric! and if the Cowboys are going to get whipped by the Skins at least if I go to the game, I'll be really, really drunk. And if they win, maybe the sweep this year won't seem so cruel.)

You're a classy man, 5RINGS.

Honestly, heading into yesterday I was very nervous and in the back of my mind I thought the Skins would lose.

That was one of those games where everything goes right for one team and everything goes wrong for the other. It's been a long time since we pulled the brooms out on your asses, and I must say I'M LOVING EVERY SECOND OF IT!

5Rings, save me a drumstick and a wing of that Crow. I had some of that for dinner last night after the game. But a whoppin like that deserves a second helping for breakfast this morning.

Wait a minute, shit the Redskins just scored AGAIN!

'Wait a minute, shit the Redskins just scored AGAIN!'

thats funny.

I had to watch with the sound off for the second half.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

good good man 5Rings. like i told D'Boyz, way to show up after the game and shake our hand (and too bad Parcells couldn't have done the same).

for whats it worth, you were 100% absolutely right to be worried about Daniels! how on earth did you know that?? he's been quiet the entire season. you were indeed right to worry about your offensive tackles, they made Daniels and Wynn look like Umenyora and Strahan. you know your team, and i respect you knowing ours enough to be worried by the exact right key matchup.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

I like good sportsmanship between fans. Kudos to you for metaphorically coming to the center of the field and shaking our hands. It's a good thing most Cowboy fans are ignaramuses, because if they were all like you I don't think I'd be able to hate them nearly as much.

I love to hate the Cowboys. Without them, being a fan of the Skins wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

PS While you're eating crow, you mind if I join you? I wouldn't mind chomping on my blackened TUNA!

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

Our Tackles are bad.
I just seemed to remember Daniels always around the pocket last game, always around the point of attack. Couple that with the fact that our not very good tackles have trouble with ends that have good feet rather than the so called 'power' ends, it was an easy call.

Daniels is a savvy vet. He went up against Flozell the first game. He got the measure of the oline in week three. we came back weaker and he ate us up.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

5Rings....much respect to you for coming back as you said you would. It was quite amusing to watch the Cowboys just fall apart yesterday. Especially the look Parcells gave Newman after he missed the tackle on Cooley's THIRD TD. And that whiny little bitch Keyshawn after Condiff missed the FG...I was in tears.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

5Rings, you're a class act and a good reason why the rivalry is fun. We still have a few years of sweeps to go to even up the past 14-17 that we've suffered, but this set us on the way.

Thanks for posting.

BrudLee 12-19-2005 11:31 AM

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

You make it hard to hate the Cowboys - I'll just have to try all the harder.

Look here now, I got the mesquite coals just right!!!!!!!!!!!! I know how you boys like your crow............plentiful. I would like to take this oppurtunity offer a "wreath of laurel" and one last time, offer you redemption and solace for your pain...............JOERINGS.
One of the funniest things I have EVER seen is the look parcells gave the punter (i think) after the short punt. you may be worthless @@##**&@@## Cowboy fans, but your honorable!

I attended the Skins/Raiders game a couple of weeks ago. They threw out a Cowboy fan after a fight. May I suggest that you wear a mild version of silver and whatever other color the cowboys wear. And try to hold your temper, because Redskin fans will be all over you. It can get ugly in the stands. Maybe have someone duct-tape your hands to your sides so you appear completely defenseless, and other fans will feel sorry for you. The silver duct tape is silver, right?

I wore a dark outfit that day (trimmed in burgandy along the seams), along with my new Redskins hat, and someone in back of me challenged me as a Raider fan, until I turned around.

I am sure that I would be fine if I go with some friends - Redskin and Cowboys fans - get expensive seats and don't make an a$$ of myself.

Way to step it up guys and show good sportsmanship.

5Rings, you want to come out of the closet now and get a Redskins avatar?

5RINGS 12-19-2005 12:29 PM

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

No can do Tafkas,

me and Tom Cruise are staying inside this closet.

Just kidding. Cowboy fan till I leave this planet.

Hope you guys rip the Giants.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

I'll come to DC next year and wear a Redskin jersey after the game if Dallas loses, if someone will wear a Cowboys jersey after the game if Dallas wins.....

of course Pictures will be required....

Sounds like a good idea but if you are at the game you have to wear it when you get home because the loser must take the crap of their team losing all the way to thier car. Well all the way to the beltway as people were yelling from car to car.

Ah. Big Skin, at last.

All week you called for Dallas and now you crushed them. I was waiting for your post.

Congratulations.

I got so much Crow in my gut now I need to puke.

Of course we will give any rival fans shit, but Redskins fan have a lot of sportmanship, and I do not think we are asses to our visiting opponents. Atleast nothing like Philly fans. From my experiences and what I have heard, it is not fun to visit a Eagles game. Philly fans=trash.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

I thought we would lose a close game, I could never had predicted our D-line dominating like they did, Griffen is a major difference maker for us, but it was quite obvious that your tackles , especially your left tackle were absolutly horrible, we won't be able to count on that kind of performance next week against the G-men. Gibbs put together his best game plan since he came back and never wavered with it, he kept the peddle to the metal, I guess that team meeting he had with some of the players 2 weeks ago where they told him he can't try to run the clock out in the 2nd quarter sunk in, unfortunatly for the boy's they hit us on the wrong day. I don't think there is a team in the NFL who could have beat us yesterday.

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

Honestly, I would look for the same pressure from Daniels this week as well. Their left tackle is a backup I do believe.

TMC,

Don't know if he is going to get Four Sacks again....

oh look Cooley scored again!

TheMalcolmConnection 12-19-2005 01:44 PM

Re: Cowboy Fan Eats Crow Here

Yeah, I'm not feeling four sacks, but I definitely see him putting some pressure on Manning. Eli is a BIT more mobile than Bledsoe, except he's MUCH more prone to chucking the ball up to avoid the sack.

Hey 5rings,
You got some steel ones for coming on the day after such a shelacking. Good show, mate. We all here, as Redskins fans, know EXACTLY how you feel right now. Usually (or at least in the last 12 years) it is US feeling this way. Hell. This year against the Gints! I'm really hoping for some payback this Saturday. Keep yer chin up and continue to join our board for analysis and discussion. It's good to have ya.

If we won I would have been here. We lost so, I'm here stuffing my face with Crow.

Oh look Cooley scored again!! that makes 24 td's in one game it must be a record!
