^^ Rams fan forum for this game. They seem to have a collectively low football IQ. I imagine this is because they live in LA and NFL football is still new to them. Not that the St. Louis Rams fans were any better. Who can forget the StL Rams coming out with their "Rams fans Rules" video they would play before home games. Im pretty sure thats it. |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
I like our chances against the Rams, their offense isn't that special. We just have to block Aaron Donald and that is no easy task...
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Chase Young is back at practice!

I could be wrong, but I believe Kyle Allen is more mobile and faster than DH. This should help a bit, but I hope Allen doesn't go too crazy with running the ball. Also, for the love of God, let's please run the ball more often. Gibson needs more touches. |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
All about stopping the run against the rams.
If we stop the mistakes on offense and special teams, we should be in a position to win the game. Hope Allen can stretch the field a little more and just find open receivers. Haskins misses too many open guys when going thru reads |

Go get it fellas....
Chase Young is back at practice!
I read that a moment ago and got excited. That would be sweet if could play Sunday. We sure could use him.

Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Sims have't practiced this week so far, anyone know what happened to him?
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Thought last week was WFTs most complete game. West coast team with a 1 pm start. I think this is winnable. Hopefully Allen is an upgrade at QB.
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
We're gonna win this game and Rivera will look like a genius for at least 1 week. Rams are my dads team. Today is his birthday. Flying up to see him now. Waiting at the airport. Gonna see if I can get the Sunday Ticket app on their TV to watch.
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Getting Chase back would be a big plus, Defense did a decent job against the run last week but pass rush wasn't there.
Rams are beatable for sure, but Aaron Donald is gonna be a huge test for our Oline. Schweitzer didn't practice 2 days in a row, I sure hope he's available. |

If Allen doesn't excel as Washington's starter, the job could be Smith's. And a few quotes this week might support that theory: Ron Rivera on Kyle Allen's job security: "This will be a game-by-game situation. I think Kyle goes in and he’ll do the things he can and do the best he can and we’ll go from there." Jonathan Allen on the QB situation: "Alex Smith is a pro's pro. Honestly, I have high expectations for the people on this team and organization. Alex is a prime example of guys with high expectations, not only from the team but of themselves. I'd be more surprised if he didn't come back from the injury, just knowing the kind of player he is and the personality he has and the kind of work ethic he has. So, I'm not surprised at all. If he needed to play, he could definitely do it. He could do it at a high level and I have all the faith in him." Ron Rivera on Alex Smith working back from the compound fracture: "I’ve been impressed with it. Again, knowing that he’s been cleared to play and then watching him working, especially the last couple weeks, has been outstanding. I just have no trepidation having him come in and play if that’s what happens.” Stay tuned, sport movies tend to have climactic finishes, and so far, Smith's comeback from injury has certainly resembled a Hollywood story. |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Per Rotoworld, Sims is on IR now.. I guess this will give AGG and Wright more opportunities to show us what they have.

It's Logan Thomas time. Haskins targeted him a lot, just missed him despite being '6'. with probably the longest reach on the NFL Allen threw to Olsen a lot last season, and Smith can hit anyone on the field. Only up from here for him. |

In real life he comes in plays 2 games and looks awful and Allen is back in |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Chase Roullier listed as questionable now.

Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
I hope Gibson holds up, he is being used a ton. I don’t think he was used super heavy in college. I hope we get a bit more work for mckissic and barber.

I'm not sold on Barber (had the chance to come out of camp as #1 and didn't) and I wish Love would turn up and show his potential. I see a 1-2 punch in Gibson and McKissick. If Allen can open up the field more I reckon they'll get their share of carries and catches each. |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Gibson hasn't even had 20 touches in a game yet... saddle him up and let's ride
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Really ... wow I run his run attempts are low but seems like he is targeted 8-10 times a game in the pass attack
|
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
It's about time, throw him the ball more than one or twice, Wright is a rookie too and is getting balls.

Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Looking at the snap counts last 2 games ... mckissic got more snaps then Gibson. That’s good.

Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
“I’d be surprised if Dwayne Haskins is on this team going forward “
Rap sheet Damn he fell off fast |
Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Haskins called in sick today.
Fair enough. I know his play definitely makes me sick to my stomach. |

Is there a link for streaming games? PM please. Rams game not showing in Baltimore today.

Re: Pre Game Thread - WTFs vs the Rams
Either our defense is as putrid as our offense or we are actively tanking for Trevor.
