Re: Around the NFL week 11
This is part of the Bengals narrative in that Power Ranking article:
"Through nine games, the Bengals have told us who they are: They can hang with, and occasionally defeat, middling opponents at or near their level … but they are not in the same weight class as the top teams." Sound familiar? Should be an evenly matched game this weekend, unless we finally get 60 minutes out of this defense. |

Re: Around the NFL week 11
TNF is a good matchup
Cards (6-3) v Seahawks (6-3) May be a wet one Seahawks 4-0 at home; Line is Sea -3; o/u 57.5 I might throw down my first bet of the season on Seattle -3 |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Yeah finally a great TNF matchup
|
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Could make or break Seattle's season, and maybe decide the NFC West division winner. Bit of a difference from the Seahawks starting 5-0 and looking like a dominant O. I actually favour the Cardinals here, as the Seahawks D has got Murray running lane sized holes in it.

Re: Around the NFL week 11
Yeah I'd say RW lost the MVP the last 2 weeks
|
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Maybe, but who would you give MVP to right now? Only consistent standout for me has been Murray. Same class?
|
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Probably a QB since the award has gone to a QB 17 of the last 20 years.
At this point, I probably vote for Mahomes. 27 TDs (25 passing/2 rushing), 2 turnovers (1 INT/1 FUM), 8-1 record. But there's still 7 more games to go. I wouldn't count out Wilson, Brady, Rodgers, Allen, Roethlisberger, or even Murray. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Mahomes

Re: Around the NFL week 11
What about Dalvin Cook? Great personal season on a losing but maybe resurgent Vikings team.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 11
He's had a real good year, the best RB in the game so far, even with missing a game. But the odds are against him, unless he single handedly drags the Vikings to the playoffs.
|
Re: Around the NFL week 11
I just don't see how you don't give it to Mahomes, he's just the best player on the planet right now, there is no game or team he can't win against.

You mean generally or this season, because they lost to the Raiders... I know what you mean. Like the Chief said, if Cook doesn't drag teh Vikings into the playoffs then its probably Mahomes. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
SCOOP: I'm told NY Giants coaches Joe Judge and Marc Colombo got into a fistfight this morning.
Punches thrown. I'm told Colombo got the better of him, and Judge fired him instantly. Jason Mcintyre |
