@MikeGarafolo Following Following @MikeGarafolo More #Redskins are signing RB Adrian Peterson, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Peterson embarks on his 12th NFL season with his fourth team. Needs 37 rushing yards to pass Jim Brown and crack the top 10 all time. Can do it quickly in Washington. 2:35 PM - 20 Aug 2018 |

Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
I would have rather had Darkwa. Wonder what the decision process was.

Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
And just when I thought there were adults over at Redskin Park they do this dumb ass shit.

Per Field Yates: @FieldYates Adrian Peterson's optimal role is when he can handle early down (non-passing situations) work, chew up carries and use his power/agility to wear a defense down. Washington presents exactly that. Also, apparently AP was interested in playing with the Redskins, and it looks like he wasn't the team's first phone call (I think Darkwa visited first). |

It's a 1-year deal and we only have two healthy RBs (Kelly and Bibbs). Also, there are a lot of jobs on the line, so this doesn't surprise me, nor does it seem too crazy. |

Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
Not a fan of this signing. But let's be honest it all depends on the money. And in all likelihood he's an improvement over Slim Rob.

Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
I would highly doubt he isn't RB1 come week 1 but we will see..
I'd like to see Bibbs get more carries tho |
Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
Normally I'd hate a move like this but considering where we are at RB I think it's a good move. Little risk.

Re: Redskins Signing Adrian Peterson
I guess let AP run behind Scherrf and it's hopefully enough of a threat...

I get all that but he is 33 years old. He is not going to fit in with what we have going on here. He's going to want the ball 20 plus times like he did in New Orleans. I find it hard to believe that this wasn't done to try and sell tickets. Garbage ass Vinny Cerrato type of signing. |

Well I do think whoever our RB with CT is will get the ball enough. I don't think we are going with a rotational type system. |
