Shoe-Hurling Iraqi Becomes a Folk Hero
This must be a first, a President getting a shoe tossed at his dome? This could only happen to W.

You kidding? With his mind, he would automatically redirected the shoe back to the orginal thrower and it would have landed with a comprehensive health care package. |
Re: Shoe-Hurling Iraqi Becomes a Folk Hero
Obama would have taken it right upside the head and we would have never heard about it.

The incident put me in mind of Kipling: "...Take up the White Man's burden-- And reap his old reward: The blame of those ye better, The hate of those ye guard-- The cry of hosts ye humour (Ah, slowly!) toward the light:-- 'Why brought he us from bondage, Our loved Egyptian night?'..." etc. etc. |

Clearly if you wanted to insult Bush throwing your shoes at him was the best option. |
