Shawn Merriman Arrested
 

For choking Tila Tequila of all people. If her song "I Love You" is to be believed Shawn Merriman is a dead man. Anyway this is the first time I'm glad to see that the Redskins drafted Carlos Rogers instead of Merriman. As far as the Chargers are concerned it's looking like drafting Larry English wasn't such a bad idea after all.

On a separate note I'm starting to get tired of seeing all these NFL players thinking it's ok to assault women. If this continues I think the NFL should consider handing out lifetime bands. The only problem with that though is what happens when a guy assaults another guy because at that point it can be looked at as a weird form of sexism.

At first I thought you were saying he was choking the tequila out of somebody. :confused: I'm as surprised he's dating her as I am about the charges. Tila Tequila......really? But yeah, these guys need to get a grip. No pun intended.

Just so you know, the 2nd article is not about the same Shawn Merriman, unless he is 46 years old.
