He loves DC, and came to wizards/bullets games growing up. Who wouldn't want to play for the team they grew up watching? And if the talent around him is better than OKC can offer (Wall, Beal, Gortat, Nene, Porter), I bet he'd seriously consider it.
LaMarcus Aldridge Darron Williams Chris Bosh just to name a few. |

I think Durant will want to win one in OKC before he would consider moving.

The Cavs would be absolute morons to trade Wiggins for Love. Love is a free agent after the summer, so why would you give them one of the top prospects to come along since LeBron James? These guys could fuck up a wet dream. |

James is bring in his guys to win now, you really havent heard a statement from James saying "Wiggins stays". I think James wants Love there, so it will most likely happen. Wiggins has talent, but still unproven. To me Golden State is making the bigger mistake, vastly overvaluing Klay Thompson and David Lee is about done...you move both for Love. I think thats a no brainer. Curry and Love back home...wow. |

Here is the thing, they can't just trade Wiggins for Love straight up, it would have to include other players. Even if they did trade Love/Wiggins straight up, they don't have the depth to win a championship so it's not like they are going to win one next year regardless. Wait the one year, let Wiggins develop and pick up Love next summer. |

What about waiting til December? They might do that, see what Wiggins has. |
Maybe he won't go to Cleveland as a FA, also easier to re-sign your own players usually.
Exactly. There's no guarantee that Love signs there as a FA. If some other team trades for him now (or mid-season), they're doing so with the intention that he'll extend. In this case, for at least one more season before the new CBA. The team that trades for him isn't going to part with major assets without some sort of extension. Even if Wiggins reaches his super high potential, if the cost for the future is gaining what you get with Love- you almost have to do it. Lebron's only going to be in his prime for a few more years and the city is starving for a chip. Wiggins still needs to work on ball-handling, but his defense is NBA ready. The east is only going to get better from here on out, so I think Cleveland has to do what it takes to get Love. |
