Who Should I Start? 2014
the 2014 thread for all those seeking fantasy football help:
get this party started in week 2, romo @ten or palmer @nyg? and which one of these guys to flex?

reggie bush @car
fred jackson vs mia
keenan allen vs sea
pierre garcon vs jac
|
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Prob Garcon; maybe F. Jackson. Carolina has a good front seven and Seattle's D is too elite to trust a WR going against them. I would personally go with Garcon, given how well the Miami D played against the Pats, although they are not much of a running team.

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
If you're playing me, Romo and Bush.
Otherwise, Palmer and Garcon. |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
I dunno, but I love the fact I swooped in and nabbed Gordon. Surprised nobody beat me to it.

As for the Flex, absolutely start Garcon. He should continue to get tons of targets with Reed out and has the best matchup out of any of those players. |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Idk where to go on this one:
Cam Newton coming off injury against Detroit, orrrrr Matt Ryan against Cincy. Leaning toward Newton but idk how much to trust him, esp. with Matt Ryan having a career day last week. |

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Panda: Garcon / Palmer 100%, Chris Johnson
Mooby: Ryan is more of a sure thing in my mind, it's a coin flip really. Both games can turn into shootouts. |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Okay, here's my dilemma:
For my PPR league, my WR2 and Flex RB/WR choices are: WR: S. Smith v. Pitt P. Harvin v. SD J. Maclin v. Indi Flex RB's R. Bush v. Carolina D. Sproles v. SD (WR1= B. Marshall; RB1/2=Moreno & Foster) Leaning towards Maclin, Harvin but wondering if S. Smith or Sproles worth pushing one of them out of flex spot. I feel like whatever I chose it will be wrong. |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Already started out the season with shitty luck. 4th highest points scored in the league, and I just happen to be playing one of the other 3 ppl in front of me. FML It's such bullshit.

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Alright guys I need your help choosing my FLEX in my PPR league. Here are my options:
TY Hilton vs. Philly Brandon Cooks vs. Cleveland Zach Ertz vs. Indianapolis Chris Johnson v. Green Bay Mike Wallace vs. Buffalo I really have no idea who I should play. |

With your guys, I go Hilton vs Philly over Ertz vs Indy. I dont like Johnson or Cooks with the match ups. Wallace is a my probably 3rd choice. I think because ppr Hilton. Hilton is usually shit on the road and much better at home. Philly and Indy should be a shoot out too. Ertz may have a better chance to score...really a toss up |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
I'm thinking about starting RG3 over Stafford this week. Carolina's d-line is looking pretty tough.
Any thoughts? |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
j red: harvin and bush
dull roar: chris johnson or brandon cooks 724: i wouldn't do it but i can't blame you, it doesn't seem like a terrible chance to take. |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
Okay. I'm in a tight spot.
Terrance West (CLE RB) vs New Orleans. Matt Asiata (MIN RB) vs New England Trent Richardson (IND RB) vs Philly I lose either way |

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
ahmad bradshaw tonight @ texans of fred jackson vs patriots?
|
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
I'd prob go with Bradshaw. Look at who's at qb, Bradshaw has Luck, FJ has Orton. Plus FJ is in a timeshare, and while Trent Richardson might get some carries I don't see him taking a lot of pt away from Bradshaw.

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
i soak it all up and then follow my gut, but it all contributes.
now how about knowshon moreno or reggie bush? |
Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
I hate F. Jackson because I can't not start him even though he is a timeshare but b/c he is a timeshare he is never going to have a point explosion. Even though a timeshare, he still generates reliable points but is never going to blow the doors out. He is the "kissing your sister" RB of FF.
His standard scoring line so far: Week 1 - 7.4 2 - 5.1 3 - 17.2 4 - 8.5 5 - 12.7 So he's likely to be an 8 - 10 point guy week in and week out with some a little high and some a little low. He will get you 8 points against NE this week - or thereabouts. I have no idea if Bradshaw carries that guarantee. |

Re: Who Should I Start? 2014
thanks j-red, i'm sure the picture will become clearer by sunday morning.
i think i had fred jackson on all of my teams last last year, i drafted him again this year on 2 of my 3 teams. i actually dropped him in instead of reggie bush (regret) on one of them. i wish i still had him there, though i am consistently trying to bundle and trade him* for a better rb on my big money team. edit* |
