Here we go with the Cowboys are going to the Superbowl again. It is comical at this point. Every fuckin year they are going to the Superbowl for 20 years now. Why this time? Because they got Dak Prescott? The same guy who hasn’t sniffed a Superbowl for five years? The same guy who has won one playoff game in five years? But now coming off an injury with the same shit defense and shit coach is suddenly heading to Disney world? The same guy who was 2-3 before he got hurt last year? Wtf am I missing? You would think they signed Aaron Rodgers, and an entire new defense yesterday. Gtfoh with this bullshit.
Yeah, I was watching some of the shows on NFL Network last night, and it was pretty obvious that everyone thought this move now catapults them into being a front-runner for the NFC title. It is so hilarious how everyone jumps on their jock every offseason. It's like they were just waiting for a reason, and now they have it...

It's fine. I'd rather them go into the season with all the expectations, it's probably a big reason why they continue to fail...

The Cowboys hype will be in full force all offseason no doubt, and like it or not they are definitely the favorite in the NFC East right now.

Isnt the league in new TV contract rights currently?

--

When the league certified its new collective-bargaining agreement this offseason, ensuring labor peace for the next decade, focus shifted towards negotiating television contracts. While many of the contracts with networks for broadcasting rights to games don’t expire until 2022, the league was determined to reach agreements with its providers.

According to NBC Sports’ Peter King, the league is expected to sign new 10-year contracts with its network partners within a month. As a result, NBC, CBS, FOX and Disney will all be partnered with the NFL through 2030.

When the contracts are finalized, the league could receive more than $100 billion over the life of the deals. Even after a season that saw a steep drop in viewership, networks are reportedly prepared to pay an aggregated increase of 70-100% from their current contracts.

---------------

Players get 47% to 48.5% of the league revenue .. so the cap will explode.

No doubt Jerry on the finance committee is arguing for a cap INCREASE this year to save his teams situation.

Jerry is definitely operating on insider information...

Current list of top FAs

How is JuJu Smith Shuster still only 24 years old?

Lots of decent edge rushers available.

Allen Robinson approves.

Bears placed franchise tag on WR Allen Robinson, per source.

There goes that option

I honestly didn't think he'd be an option, he probably wants to be WR1 and would want WR1 money.

I think Golladay is going to want the same, although he's going to be a FA. So I think it is going to be down to either Curtis Samuel or Corey Davis.

i think Will Fuller is the most realistic option

Corey Davis. Plus, Mariota and Davis have a good rapport already having played three years together in Tennessee. :)

Wouldn't be mad about Fuller though.

I like Fuller too, but he has never played a 16 game season, will be suspended for the first week due to PEDs. I won't be upset if we get him, but I don't think he should be our first option.

Several teams are legit eyeing Washington Football CB Ronald Darby per sources, but WFT still hopes to keep him. The CB market is a weird one. No elite options, but several solid players. Could be a scenario where some choose 1-year deals in this lower-cap environment.

Ben Stalding

Would be a big loss IMO

Shoot, hopefully we will sign him before the free agency starts. Per Keim, the team is actively working on resigning him so fingers crossed.

Saints reportedly tagging their Safety Marcus Williams. Salary cap is such a joke, no way they should have enough to tag anyone.
