Per the team's twitter account

But then how would he have appeased the fanbase for not making any changes?

Also Matty I love how the statement "we have made multiple roster moves" implies there are multiple changes coming instead of just getting rid of Blewitt.

Just want to hear Rivera’s take on what happened

He finally got caught up on the mid season evaluations.

He probably also peeped some Warpath and saw us calling for this move.

Ron is a mess. I get the feeling he is in over his head.

Wow he certainly blew it.

Kicker definitely still on the offseason wish list.

Slye is 80% on FGs for his career and just 88% on PATs. Yikes. Still better than Blewitt though and that's not saying much.

Lol.. It's pretty obvious Rivera is fully focused on his staff's thoughts instead of outsiders' thoughts, and this is a true leadership regardless of what we, fans, think of this. Real leaders are not the kind of people that will follow mob's wishes. Granted, this approach could lead Rivera and his staff toward wrong path if the path they chose is wrong for the team. Nonetheless, I would prefer for a head coach to do that instead of following outsiders' wishes.

Just so you all know, Slye missed quite a few short FG’s including extra points, did well on the long FG’s here in SF. He might, might not pan out unless he’s consistent.

Sadly, Blewitt set the bar really low. Your FGs are not getting blocked? You're alright.

Re: Blewitt out, Slye in

Slye was 4/5 for Houston on FGs and 7/8 for SF this year.

7/8 on XPs for Houston and just 2/4 for SF.

3/3 from 50+

What? We been calling for Hopkins head for at least 2 years,Hopkins should have been cut,the mistake was bringing in Blewitt.Yeah he kicked game winning fg,big whoop,it was a chip shot and he missed another extra point

Re: Blewitt out, Slye in

The revisionist history going on with Hopkins is pretty funny. Fans have been calling for his head for years now. He finally gets cut and people act shocked. Please.
