Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
Schaffer getting the push sure seems to explain why Danny is doing all of the firing.

Danny's doing all the firing because he doesn't have a lackey anymore to do all his firing for him. I'm fine with it. This is one more step towards Danny being a better owner. It's only a dream for now but I would love a Dan Snyder press conference. Just be accountable for the team you own Dan. The part where we want to be concerned is when Dan is making roster decisions and passing them down to the staff to be done. That needs to stop. |
Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
May want to pump the brakes on the Schaffer news, conflicting reports, and now Doc has deleted his tweet.

Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
Per JP, he's getting conflicting information on Schaeffer's firing. Doc Walker broke the news, which was a bit surprising to hear him break any news.

Schaffer being the next lackey in seniority after Bruce

Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
Doc Walker just said he spoke to Schaffer and he has not been released.

JP Finlay also confirmed the firing. This is kind off like the Alex Santos report yesterday, he’s still with the team. |
Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
I don't think Snyder would terminate Eric Schaffer. He's universally respected. Doesn't make sense.

Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
That's two incorrect reports in the past two days. First Kareem Copeland misreported on Alan Santos being fired. And now Doc Walker and the Schaffer flub.

Re: Coaching and Front Office Changes
JP Finlay's tweet says he's confirming Shaffer has been fired. Rapaport and other national guys are conflicting it. I'd hate to see JP's reputation take a hit, he's been so good and I like him a great deal.
