The democratic party might finally help me out: "Two House Democrats sent a letter Thursday to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, demanding the league provide Congress with the results of the investigation into the Washington Football Team's workplace culture." And yes, this is tongue in cheek. Neither party wants to actually help, just as long as we keep arguing with each other. We are the distraction. |

Damn good culture.

Never ending bullshit

Re: Here comes Congress......
Yeah let's remember Congress did nothing regarding the name issue. This sort of stuff is a dog and pony show for them.

Re: Here comes Congress......
Wonder if Goodell and the owners are starting to regret their decision to keep working with Snyder now...major pain in their ass.

Not Mara and Jones. They will protect Snyder so they can count on an under achieving team in the division. They fucking love Snyder. |
Re: Here comes Congress......
Congress should stick to fixing inflation, high gas prices, Covid, etc. Politics already ruined sports.

Yeah, from afar, it does feel a little bit strange to see the Congress getting involved in this. Like if there was anything illegal done, shouldn't the judiciary system take care of that, and not politicians ? But if this eventually leads to the NFL to forcing Dan out, I'm all for it. I don't think it would happen for legal reasons (if there was anything that bad they would've acted already, the potential PR backlash would be too big), but at some point maybe they want to do something to end the bad buzz. Still very long shot IMO, most likely is another NFL financed social justice program allowing all parties to go "see how seriously we took care of this issue?". |
