2016 NFL Draft 1st Round

What are looking for tonight outside of the Skins pick?

Things I'm gonna watch:

Who is gonna fall? My thoughts are Myles Jack

What are the Chargers gonna do...we know the QBs will be 1 and 2?

Trades....could be a couple more.

My thoughts with the Skins...a run on WR is being mocked right after our pick at 21 with Houston, Minnesota and Cincy all interested in receivers. Could one of those want to jump up to get their choice between Coleman, Fuller, Doctson or Treadwell? Hopefully so.

Thoughts on tonight?

Oh...will be watching how many QBs go in the first round...Im thinking at least 3, probably 4.

I'm ready for the blue balls that will come with the very real possibility of us trading down and not picking until tomorrow... :(

Looking out for what our enemies do with their picks.
I want Jerrah to ruin the Cowboys draft and well...eff Mara.

Looking to see what the Browns do b/c of Griffin and b/c I'm rooting for their unabashed adoption of analytics.

Where will Mac Alexander go imo one of the best CBs in the draft

Outside of the 1st

Looking to where my to favorite sleeper QBS get drafted Brandon Allen and Trevone Boykin

Also looking where these sleeper/underrated prospects go: BJ Goodson, Stephen Daniels, Brandon Chubb, KJ Dillon....and not so much a sleeper Kevin Byard and Tyvis Powell

Aside from thinking the Redskins won't pick tonight, the main things I want to see are:

1) Make damn sure Zeke doesn't go anywhere in the NFCE.
2) See big names who fall to us tomorrow.
3) See who gets drafted too high.

We need to take the best DT in the first round.
Make trades later.

I'd rather Dallas takes Zeke than a blue chip offensive lineman, knowing how fragile Romo is.

Looks like Jack is falling already.

How many times will Mayock say "twitchy"?

No way Dallas takes a lineman. They're pretty much set across the board.

I think Zeke is a real possibility, but many people are saying Bosa. I think if they go Bosa/Ramsey, they are boom/bust, no in between.

I'm hoping Bradford doesnt get traded today. Or they make a really shitty trade.
He can stay in Philly and fester a while and infect the whole team.

I think I'd be happy either way. I think if Bradford goes, they can throw the rookie to the wolves and maybe he'll get Carr-ed.

Zeke is the most interesting prospect tonight...I don't see him falling out of the top 10. Dallas, Cleveland, San Fran, Baltimore, Giants, Chicago and Miami all love him. I think San Diego could make a trade with anyone of those cats.

I don't think Dallas can pass on their choice of best defensive player in the draft and I feel no way in hell Zeke makes it past the Giants.

I feel you, although my main focus will be watching the Caps game tonight I'd hate to watch just to see us trade down. But I'll take one night of watching everyone else draft if it means we end up with a draft class to remember for the next 10 years.

Agreed. I think Bradford is a solid backup, but if he stays and is a malcontent that's great for us. And if he goes then the Eagles only have Chase Daniel to back up the rookie (while i think Daniel is a solid backup as well better for them to only have 1 instead of 2).

Not likely, but I'm hoping we stay put and Ryan Kelly falls to us.

If he's not there, I'm good with drafting WR, LB, DT or S if they deem one is worthy of that pick. Otherwise, a trade would be ok too - pick up a couple more picks.

It's gonna be an interesting couple of days across the NFL.

Connor Cook to the skins at 21? If Scot goes true BPA ...

Re: 2016 NFL Draft 1st Round

Cook? If he is chosen in the first round, it's because of his position not b/c he is the BPA.

If he or Lynch is available at 21, I can see SM squeezing picks out of one of the QB desperate teams and wish them well while he loads up on the guys who fall because teams over pay for QB's.

Seriously, doe anyone think Goff or Wentz are the best players in the draft - guys who can come in, start and possibly star from day 1? Nope ... but, because of their position, San Diego gets a shot at the real No. 1 college player.

Very simply, the more QB's go before 21, the better for us. Either (1) we get a guy who has fallen not because of question marks but b/c other teams over value college QB's; (2) we trade out and get multiple picks b/c some non-QB who should've been drafted earlier falls to us and teams start bidding for him; or (3) the last QB who can throw more than 10 yards is on the board when we draft.
