Another very telling stat, Wentz was a 50% passer on plays that were not screens. 30th in the NFL.
I'll say it again though. Why are you comparing his stats in a vacuum? What about his receivers? Were they open? How much time did he have in the pocket? Do you think any of that factors into a statistic like that? He made some boneheaded reads and throws last season, I'll give you that but you're making him out to be in the bottom half of the league and that just isn't true. |

Please don't share anymore about him LOL. I already don't like the move. This has turned me into crying jordan. That is a terrible stat. Just proves he leaves lots of yards on the field. No NFL QB should be completing less than 60%. |

Never liked him. Indy has good wr's and the best back in the league and a very good o-line. For those of you who are old enough, Wentz reminds me exactly of Jay Schroeder. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
The only stats that matter to me at this point is what happens in 2022. Throw the rest of them out. New team, new coaches, fresh start. I am now a Carson Wentz fan because he is the QB of my team. End of story.

Since everyone was busting them out I thought I'd join the stat party. |

Agreed. Surround him with some more weapons and let's go. |

Schroeder took us to the NFC Championship in 86 and the Raiders to the AFC Championship in 89. I'd take that from Wentz. I think Schroeder was maybe a little more disliked by his teammates. Wentz seems to have his share of supporters from the Colts. |

This , there is no point and hating on the dude.. When he was beating us in Philly we all would have loved to have him.. That MNF Game he made some amazing plays |
Talented guy no doubt- but when his leadership is questioned, when you fumble all the time, when you take too many sacks, when you make back breaking type of plays, when you aren't as accurate as the top guys, when you play too much hero ball, when you are too fragile to take hard coaching, when two teams have kicked you out the door, does the physical gifts really matter??
You better hope he has a really bad year, because if he has a good one….oh boy. |

For the stats don't matter crowd, it's hard to blow off QBR as meaningless |

There were rumblings of it in Philly too, just saying. I am not really devaluing him on it. You got crack some eggs to make a omelette |

You got crack some eggs to make a omelette
I think he complained too much when Hurts was drafted. From the outside looking in, it seems that that people in that organization were split between Hurts and Wentz. |
