Someone back on page 1 suggested the "D.C. Defenders". That sounds cool but isn't that name owned by the XFL? I know the XFL is bankrupt now but would we have to purchase the rights to that name from Vince McMahon?

I like Warriors if it has to change as it appears it will. How about Washington Soldiers? A few good things about Soldiers- sounds similar to Redskins in terms of number of letters, syllables. Also, no one else has it any sport as I know. Sounds distinct, professional, and demands respect.

Thoughts on Washington Soldiers?

I don’t like team names that are the same in other sports. There’s a Jets in football and hockey. There is already a Warriors in the NBA. If we are going to do it, make it original.

The real question is MTK, if the name changes are you gonna update this whole site? Been here so long, gonna be weird if this page changes too. I know absolutely zero about website design or maintainence. I'd imagine the site would function the same, but have no idea how difficult changing all the visuals are.
