For the first time in Carson Wentz career he has a true #1 receiver in their prime & there are no great QBís without a true #1 receiver.

Carson Wentz is the only QB in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards in a season w/o a 500 yard WR. With @TheTerry_25, Carson wonít fail! 🔥🔥
I say a blooper single.
I think a blooper single would have been the likes of Bridgewater, Dalton, T Taylor, etc

Have you returned your Mitch jersey and ordered the new Wentz jersey?

Ha! I would have been fine with Mitch here if that is what they decided to do.

I don't buy current player jerseys...

This.

Wentz was a solid double.

Fine but not a stand up triple.

Ronís approach to culture and his relationship with players is why I feel much more comfortable with this move. Wentz does have a lot to prove, but canít deny last year was a nice bounce back season on the field.
What is odd to me is why did the colts give up on him? Especially Frank Reich. I watched the first hard knocks episode last night, that guy loved Carson. They don't have a QB in the wings and we gave them really nothing to solve that issue in the trade.

I can see why the Eagles moved on from him, they had Hurts who they feel is better, fine and that got a 1st round pick for Carson.

Just red flags too me.
I definitely get the concern about two teams moving on from him.

BUT...

Considering this is going to be the 6th straight season the Colts start opening day with a different QB, maybe it's worth asking what red flags are coming from that organization too.

Jim I is a fucking whack job himself. All the owners are pretty much whack jobs. In that article Wentz even tired to reach out to Jim I to clear the air. I think a sane person would have been like lets try one more year with Carson and get him some WR help, then make a decision in 2024. Nope instead trade him for song and lets go all in on trying to get a Jim G type guy. Maybe its me but not sure jimmy G is much of a upgrade over Carson.

NFL Network this morning reported that it was Irsay that wanted to move on not Ballard.

Yeah I think it was mainly Irsay driving this move.

This makes me feel a lot better. Another owner with a history of dumb calling the shots over the GM who wanted Wentz to stay? Everyone should should feel better about this

If they want to just have someone hand the ball off 30 times a game Jimmy G can definitely handle that.
