Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
Anybody else starting the season 0-2? Didn't set my lineup last week, got crushed thanks to starting Cam Newton (IA last week) while Matt Ryan rode my bench (30+ points thanks to career day).
This week manage to set my lineup, feeling good heading into the day, and right now I'm currently losing by 55 points. Seahawks D blessed me with a solid 0, thanks to losing to the Chargers. AJ Green blessed me with another 0, thanks to his turf toe injury. Started Matt Ryan, who gave me 10 points, over Cam Newton, who had 20 on the bench. Started Roddy White and Brandon Cooks, who combined to score 9 points. Waiting on LeSean McCoy and Dwayne Allen to play tomorrow before I confirm the loss. I feel like rage quitting right now, especially since my matchup this week is against my coworker who is undoubtedly going to annoy the shit out of me for the 50 hours I have to sit next to him next week. I picked up Josh Gordon thinking it would be a steal once his suspension is reduced, thought 8 games was harsh and it turns out it was only reduced to 10. What's the point of having him for <6 games, especially with the Browns qb situation? Idk that it's worth wasting a roster spot for the next 8 weeks for. |

It sounds like you have a solid team actually, just a bad week. Hang in there bud. There are a lot of good players to pick up this week as well to help your team.

So Tampa gave up 56 points but ended with 15 fantasy points. Cute trick if you can do it

Re: Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
I am in a quandary here at QB. I have Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and now Cousins as QBs. Wilson is on bye. Should I gamble with Cousins? NFL.com is projecting Rodgers to have a big day against da Bears, but I don't see it. The Pack offense sucks right now.

Re: Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
I'm starting Foles over Stafford after benching Foles last week in favor of Stafford. You're welcome Redskins. Every player I started last week had their lowest totals of the season and I played the person with the highest of EVERY SINGLE CATEGORY except defense.
RAGE QUITSSSSSSSS. |

Yeah, my gut says go with Kirk, just worried about some crazy jinx. If Djax is in, Kirk will have all the weapons he needs. |
Re: Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
someone tell me if that's a good trade for me ^ up there.

Re: Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
which side of these 2 trades would you rather be on?
1. jimmy graham, ryan mathews, and bernard pierce or gronk, sea d/st, and brandin cooks 2. matt ryan or martellus bennett current roster: qb: newton, dalton (2) rb: forte, f. jackson, bradshaw, t. west (4) wr: bryant, cobb, a. hawkins, cooks (4) te: gronk, bennett, allen (3) d/st: chargers, seahawks (2) k: gostkowski (1) roster if i accept both trades: qb: newton, ryan, dalton (3) rb: forte, f. jackson, bradshaw, mathews (4) wr: bryant, cobb, a. hawkins, *sanu drop bernard pierce (4) te: graham, allen (2) d/st: chargers, *bears drop t. west (2) k: gostkowski (1) then probably try to trade dalton or newton for a decent wr. help! |
Re: Fantasy Football 2014 Thread
i accepted both of those trades, dropped t. west for bears d/st; plan to drop pierce for sanu.
i offered a guy cam newton for desean jackson, fair? that'd leave me w ryan and dalton at qb... |

Need opinions! 20 Team PPR
I have Jordan Reed, need someone to fill in. Waivers are thin, best options are Levine Toilolo (ATL) or Cumberland (NYJ). Two trades I'm considering: Jeremy Kurley for Owen Daniels Jeremy Kurley for Niles Paul My other receivers are Jeremy Maclin, Vincent Jackson, Deandre Hopkins, Allen Robinson Owen Daniels has more year-long stand alone value with Pitta done for the year, Niles Paul is a great handcuff. Thoughts? |
