Fox's new power ranking has us 4th in the NFL!?!

Wow when I saw this I was stunned, not that I do not think that the Skins are up there, but I did not think analysts thought this high. These rankings are calculated as well. An interesting quote that jumped out to me as well,

"Whether or not you include Week 17 in the rankings, Washington is the hottest team in the league heading into the playoffs. (Actually, Kansas City is the hottest team in the league, but the Chiefs are stuck looking for tee times.) Even after including home-field advantage, our system believes the Redskins should be favored over the Buccaneers in the first round."

Pretty cool, huh? Definately interested on what you guys think.

I think that it was on around the horn, or maybe I read it somewhere but someone said that the Redskins with there current level of play are the "true" #2 seed in the NFC right now.

The Fox rankings weigh the last five games played heavily in their standings. Since we're 5-0, that helps us a lot.

I read somewhere that if we beat the Bucs the first time we'd be the true #2 seed with an 11-1 conference record.

I mean really, these guys are a day late and a dollar short. With the number of teams playing football right now, it's pretty "easy" to say the Redskins are ranked higher. Especially while we're on a 5 five game roll!

That would have impressed me if they had said this like two or three weeks ago.
