Red Zone Efficiency Anyone know where I can finds stats on league wide Red Zone Efficiency? I'd like to see how we stack up against Seattle and the rest of the league. |
Re: Red Zone Efficiency I think you can find those stats here, but not 100% positive.... http://www.nfl.com/stats |

Re: Red Zone Efficiency this is the only one I could find http://www.sportingnews.com/exclusives/20060103/692951.html and this one might have it but I don't have insider http://proxy.espn.go.com/nfl/preview05/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2145710 |

But it does list the Chargers as being the most efficient RZ team of 2004. And they were again in 2005, as of December 16, according to this article (check the graphic, Seattle is #2) I don't know where Washington stands but I believe they have something like 11 straight TDs in their last 11 trips to the Red Zone. |
Re: Red Zone Efficiency This is a big improvement over last year. While our offense still has a long way to go consistency-wise, if the defense gets them in the red-zone, they've shown an ability to capitalize by converting turnovers into scores. Last year, or even earlier this season, the end result of Lavar's INT return to the 5 would've been an INT by the TB Fuccaneers or a mere 3 point FG. In the last few games, we have been able to convert red zone turnovers into TDs. |

Re: Red Zone Efficiency Against the Eagles the screen posted that we were 9 for 9 on redzone TD's. I believe we scored 2 TD's in the redzone and kicked a field goal. We scored 1 TD against the Bucs in the redzone which makes our percentage about a 98% accuracy. I don't know the Seahawks percentage. |
