Wynn is a great guy and all, but I must agree he does suck...I've been holding this in the back of my mind for the longest time but it's time to pull the cards. Wynn should not be starting and the only reason he returns to the starting lineup every year is because of his experience and his relationship with Snyder. He's averaged 2 sacks since he's been here and he has started every game. Perhaps his injury will cause him to miss some time so the next guy can come in and take his job. |
Re: Bosch off the list
wynn isn't terrible but he's earning at least twice as much money as his production merits... we just haven't had anyone better to take over yet. He's good in the locker room and i'd bet they try to keep him, but his production has never met his paycheck here.

I never questioned his character...that is the single reason why I would bite my tongue to critisize his production because I know how important a spirit in the locker room can be. But we have to move on...he has no identity (usually guys who don't rack up on sacks are good with run support but I'm not sure if that is his forte either). I'm just anxious to see a new face on the D-line and I'm guessing Wynn would be the first to go. Give em a job in the front office or something. |
Re: Bosch off the list
yeah, maybe evans will step up... he's done alright in limited snaps... I don't really know if he can go every down of every game though. I can still hope for kampman, though it looks like his stock just keeps climbing recently :/ maybe mathis will drop because of it though :P

Re: Bosch off the list
wynn is a good run-stopper...

Re: Bosch off the list
But only an average pass rusher (consistent though)

I think an average pass rusher would avg more than 2 sacks per season...thats an overstatement; he is consistent as in he starts every game and thats where it ends. |

Good point. But when people talk about the Redskins D-Line as pass rushers I see Joe Salvae and company getting knockdown after knockdown, which IMO is almost as good as a sack. However I do see where your coming from with the 2 sacks. |
