offense

QB - JC (cause I hope he becomes undeniable this year) and a rookie
RB - Portis and Stephen Jackson
TE - Cooley and Crumpler
WR - Santana Moss, Steve Smith, Hines Ward, Boldin + rookie
FB - Sellers
OL - I would say Samuels, Jansen, Thomas, Mawae and another good G

defense

CB - bring back Champ, Smooty and Rogers
DL - Freeney, Peppers, Griffin and Corey Simon(? I can't think of another DT)
Safety - Polamalu and Taylor
LB - Washigton, LaVar and Joey Porter...someone will move to the middle

kicker
Vanderjagt

special teams
Dante Hall

I agree with a bunch of yours, so a few of the positions didn't change.

All I got to say is if there is no CBA there is no draft. No draft = best offer gets the best player.

Oh god, the NFL is going to be worse than the MLB...I mean even they have a draft which the Yankees can't circumvent.

I would take Cooley over Shockey based upon play and attitude. I think Cooley's better and Shockey's an overrated prick. I hate that guy.

Mike Vick---NO. Santana Moss would be useless if Vick were the QB. Besides, I have heard that Atlanta has had to simplify their offense repeatedly so that Vick can work with it. That would not play well with Al Saunders as the offensive coordinator.

Clinton Portis--Yeah, okay.

Lorenzo Neal--Why?

Randy Moss--Who needs those kinds of headaches? He's nearly as selfish as Keyshawn and Terrell. What would we do then with the other Moss?

Santana Moss--Absolutely.

Jeremy Shockey--I'd take Gates, Gonzalez and even Cooley over Shockey. Too much trouble, too many missed route assignments, too many "give-ups" in his routes, and he does not like to block when required. No thanks.

Re: Future skins roster without cap limit

Peyton Manning
Portis, Larry Johnson, and/or LT
Sellers, I can't think of the FB from KC off the top of my head
Cooley, Crumpler
S. Moss, Chad Johnson, Marvin Harrison
Denver's O-line with Randy Thomas, Jansen and Samuels as backups

Peppers, Freeny, Griffin, Seymour
LaVar, Marcus Washington, Vrbel, Tupapu(?), can't think of anyone else, but I'm sure G-Dubb could make me into a great MLB
Champ, Rogers, Springs, Deltha ONeil, Hall
SDot, Troy P (won't attempt to spell that name), Harrison, Lynch

Vinaterri

Lendetta

Plus Dexter Manley and Art Monk on the sidelines of every game just to make me smile

i like who we've got now. I think for the most part, it's about the team. Look at our olympic dream team.
