Free agency has been delayed ... again ... for 72 hours.

Snyder won't let this team crash and burn. You should be happy it got pushed back

Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
1st deadline Friday 6:00 p.m.
2nd deadline Sunday 6:00 p.m. 3rd deadline Sunday 10:00 p.m. 4th deadline Sunday 11:30 p.m. 5th deadline ________?________ Anyone want to guess how many extensions there are going to be? |
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
72 hours it was push back and then another 72 hours right??? So really there is no dead line???
|
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
as many as they need to get a cap extension done.
|
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
right, guys......
this is all bs....in the end, there will be no fireworks, just a lot of fizzle... inthe end, the skins benefit more from an agreement then from a total collapse, so whatever it takes.... |
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
Tagliabue isn't taking the proposal made by the NFLPA to the owners until TUESDAY! What the hell is wrong with these people? Why don't the owners convene (even via telephone) tomorrow?! No wonder deadlines keep getting pushed back.
This reminds me of those commercials where the guy is surrounded by chimps at work. |
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
i think the talks are off, they just pushed back the deadline for cutting players and then free agency? i am kind of confused
|
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
Is this extention for more talks or is it just to let teams get their houses in order?
They really use the term 'deadline' very loosely. I'm tettering on the brink of insanity. |
Re: Sunday 3/5/06 11:15 pm: Free Agency Delayed 72 Hours
I vote for the Garfield special of dragging them into the street and shot, lol.
this is really ridiculous but hopefully all of this will actually result in something positive and the whole situation being fixed especially since the team we care about the most is one of the teams in the worst shape if this doesn't happen. |
