Good point, maybe we should stick to this thread As it is, it's going to be hard not to start new threads |

No I'm damn serious, the guy is a monster DT 6-5, 350. He would have been a nice addition to the middle of the line, I love Big Joe but he would be better suited as our #3 DT in my opinion. |

i doubt it, that DT is a bit of a monster. he's their Brensten buckner replacement. good job on them. |
Re: Panthers sign ex-Ravens DT Maake Kemoeatu
Any other D-lineman (besides Carter) that we could go after?
|
Re: Panthers sign ex-Ravens DT Maake Kemoeatu
5 year 23$mill, 4.5mill per. Not a bad price for his skills. he should be able to pick up where BB left off.

bernard (8 sacks, seattle DT), tripplet (indy DT), mathis (indy situational pass rushing DE, 11.5 sacks in 2005 i think). there are also guys like sam adams etc that i don't eblieve are worth their price and guys like kampman who already resigned :( |

You definitely want your DL tackling a guy before he gets into the secondary. Interestingly, Ma' ake was quoted himself that the Redskins were interested in him. Was it not mutual?

i gues not, no one mentioned him and he's only 30 miles away. we could have had a jaguars/panthers interior line with him. I'd assume the skins just figured our needs at WR and DE would cost too much to afford a top flight DT. we'll probably also go ahead and sign a FA TE instead of drafting one if we give a pick away for lloyd as well. |
