Zeus is Loose

Orlando Brown (all 6-7, 365 lbs.) was released today by the Ravens. I know he's 35 and has been injured, but does anyone know if he still has any football left in him? Enough to pursue for depth on the O-Line? He'd sure make for an imposing lineup.

I think its important to make sure that your spare tire isn't already flat.

35 and often injured, stop right there and ask yourself why

He's Ray Brown with only one good eye.

Okay guys. It's not like this came out of left field. He still rates out by scouts on some different boards as an adequate starter at about the same level as guys like Peter Boulware, Andre Davis, and Jason Whittle. The guy is a beast and he does have heart. I just don't know how severe his injury history is other than the shot he took to the eye.

he got replaced midseason. that's how good he is :/ boulware is also probably done. too much wear cranking up a billion tackles and 70 sacks. he's done NOTHING for two years running now.

Very right my friend. He could be a great back up if someone is out a game or more. Just having someone like him coming in from time to time is a big lift. Could he started 16 games most likey not. Butt he sure is better then a back up center playing guard in a game that could have taken you to the NFC championship game!

the last year raymer was starting, he was literally the WORST starting C in the league. go figure he'd be a bad backup at RG. No one here knew how or why he even made the roster.

I was sorry to see that! When he was drafted he was to be the next Joe Bostic! But bigger!

I could see us going after him in a back up role. He won't be with us though cause we won't offer much to him
