evans
This would really suck if went else where. I think we should do our best to try and keep this guy. couldnt find the first aticle on him.
49ers | More about Evans' visit Sun, 19 Mar 2006 06:34:07 -0800 The San Francisco Chronicle, reports free agent DE <A href="http://www.kffl.com/player/495/nfl">Demetric Evans (Redskins) was given a physical by the San Francisco 49ers Saturday, March 18, and likely will visit with coaches Monday, March 20. |
Re: evans
dont think we will be able to. he will probably be a starter for them. if he went there would be wierd, because we have 2 49ers on our team, and they would have 2 skins (Evans and Harris)
|
Re: evans
evans wouldn't start for them. he's not better than the DEs they have now. he also wears out, so i doubt they'll try to move him to OLB. he might be a situational pass rusher, but DE in a 3-4 means more wear than in a 4-3.

Re: evans
physicals usually mean they are getting signed.

but before he even meets with the coaches? |

Unless your one of the elite super star players you don't get to meet with coaches first. You take your physical and if you pass that then you may talk with the coaches otherwise it would be a waste of time. This doesn't mean they will sign him though, just probing him :biggthump |
Re: evans
If we're keeping Daniels and Wynn I don't see much of a need for Evans.
|
Re: evans
Wynn should be moved to Tackle
|
Re: evans
i'd like to see him stay, but if he wants to be a #1, then he ain't gonna be that here. good luck to him elsewhere.
|
Re: evans
i don't think he could be a starter there either.

Re: evans
let him go, he was a good fill-in but other than than we can live w/o him. ya he deff wouldnt fit in 3-4 scheme
|
Re: evans
dont know why he would sign there if he cant start
|
Re: evans
I don't know why the Niners want him so bad. He definitely doesn't fit as an OLB and he's not good enough to play outside of a 4-3, IMO. If he gets a better offer from them, let him leave. The Skins don't need to break the bank for a backup.

The niners didn't lose 52-10 for no reason. |
