The trial is supposed to start today (3/20). If you hear anything, please post it here.

Re: Sean Taylor Trial
Wasn't it postponed to April 10?

Re: Sean Taylor Trial
if he does not have to much in his background, he'll probably be ok. In Florida, however, the "gun thing" makes a BIG difference!
|
Re: Sean Taylor Trial
I heard there's some disagreement among the witnesses to whether or not he actually pointed the gun. It's gonna be tough to convict him if that stands in court.

Re: Sean Taylor Trial
It isn't a slam dunk not guilty. There is at least enough there for the judge to allow the prosecution to take it to trial. When you put anything in the hands of a judge and jury, anything can happen.
None of us can possibly know what evidence either side has at this point. Almost all of the evidence that has been publicly released has been pretty bad for ST. As a result, it is foolish to put the chances of a positive outcome at better than 50%. |
Re: Sean Taylor Trial
i disagree. i would put it at more like 70-80%. all of this hinges around flimsy witnesses and a weapon NOT being found. specifically the gun is what is what would be the cause of all the jail time. there has been no weapon found. as of now, in a worst case scenario WITHOUT finding a gun, he gets maybe assault and battery.

Re: Sean Taylor Trial
he's famous... juries tend to be a bit gunshy (get it??!?!?!?!) in convicting people they've seen on TV.

Re: Sean Taylor Trial
