Bledsoe's comments about TO
Did anyone else hear Drew Bledsoe's comments from Cold Pizza this morning? (They're on the main page of espn.com)
He says that he has heard from guys that he personally knows who have played with TO in the past that he's a good teammate. Is he serious? Were McNabb, Garcia, Hugh Douglas, etc just lying to all of us for fun? Bledsoe goes on to say that he's a hard worker who shows up on Sundays, and I'll give TO that, but he also thinks that the cowboys will be a better TEAM with TO in the locker room. I guess all those hits to the head have gotten to Drew. I get mad when people say that since the fat tuna could deal with LT he can deal with TO. Taylor was at least a team player who always wanted to win. TO doesn't seem to give a flying f if the team itself wins anything unless he is the primary reason for their success. I hope the cowgirls crash hard for this one. |
Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
what did you expect bledsoe to say? I hate my teammate and hope he dies?

Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
Exactly, he's going to support the guy until he acts like an arse.
Publicly all the Cowboys will say all the right things. |
Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
Yeah, I cant see Drew saying TO has been awful and he better not act up. Of course he is going to compliment him. TO is a great receiver, and with the contract he has plus his past record he can't screw up or its so long NFL. He will blow up, Parcells is ball control, run, punt, get field position. He can throw if he wants but with the O-line being subpar last year, I dont know how long Drew would be able to take that pounding and keep getting up. We will see, but TO definately makes them better.

Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
Wait until about week 3 of the season when Bledsoe can't get TO the ball or Bledsoe throws up some wounded ducks that cause TO to get blasted....the shit will hit the fan and TO will be TO and then the rest will just speak for itself as the demise of the Cowturds happen just as they did in Philly.

Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
unfortunately for us, i think TO is going to be on his very best behavior this time around. he's being paid what he wants, and he knows he's 32 and this is his last chance for a team to want him.
that said, Jerry Jones shows just how pathetic, classless, and desperate he is to be paying the guy who tainted their precious Dallass stadium star. even Snyder would have drawn that line. |
Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
bledsoe had to say what he did if he wants to have a chance at a good season. if he told the truth then it would be over already

Believe what you want, but if the Cowboys have another game like the skins handed to them at the end of last year, TO will have a screaming fit. The greatest part is that it wont matter if he was opened, Bledsoe wont have time to throw it and then the blame game begins. |
Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
bledsoe is a dickhead .... bottom line
what did you expect bledsoe to say? I hate my teammate and hope he dies?
No... more like "Why in the HAIL did we sign that cancer?" or "And I thought it couldn't get worse than last year". Instead he says something zen like "I just became a better quarterback without throwing a pass." Did that come from the little blue fairy that sits on your shoulder, Drew, or the little green one? |
Re: Bledsoe's comments about TO
I think TO will prove himself this year. We will see if this guy is an egomaniacal assface probowl wide receiver or a self destructive egomaniacal assface thats out of the league. Dallas has rolled the dice and I think it is a ballsy call b/c the media is gonna be on them like flies on shit.
As a skins fan I hope he craps the bed. This is without a doubt the most interesting pick up of the FA sining period. |

I think he'll be better behaved simply cause he's on his last legs, but he's gonna cause some problems at some point, its just a matter of when & how. Parcells will get all the credit for disciplining him, when really its a matter of TO not having many choices left. Maybe all the cowpokes will say the right things, but what someone needs to say is that he's welcome so long as he doesn't publicly bash his teamates. I'm sure parcells will do that (so I guess i have to give parcells some credit). |
