Clark takes a jab at the Redskins...
I know that there maybe a thread started about Mr. Suck-A$$ Clark, but I am not sure that some are aware of what he apparently told Adam Schein from fox sports. Here is the link and the clip...
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5427756 "Ryan Clark to Pittsburgh — Clark told me he was looking to start, play for a winner, and continue to play for an aggressive defensive coordinator after drinking the Gregg Williams' Kool-Aid in Washington. The savvy and hard hitting safety hit the jackpot on all wishes, giving the Steelers a suitable replacement for Chris Hope." If this is true then I hope he falls on his face... I never thought of him as a "hard hitting safety", apparently Clark or Schein forgot about the "human battering ram" that is Sean Taylor that played along side of Clark, or they got confussed as to who was doing the "hard hitting"... |

Re: Ryan Clark to Pittsburgh
Oh, I don't know I think that I took the GW' kool-aid comment the wrong way, but I just dont like his jab about play for a winner, it just doesnt sound right, I mean yeah untill last season we were nothing to be fearfull of but, I may be wrong, wasnt Clark already to be sent packing 2 years ago, and GW and his kool-aid gave him a chance??? To me it just sounds dis-respectful thats all, I guess...

Re: Ryan Clark to Pittsburgh
damn, whats the problem? again there is no injustice here... apparently mentioning that you even played for the skins is some sort of crime against humanity. He wanted to start, we wants to win. there's nothing wrong with that, and the steelers will let him do both. He's sasid a lot of nice things about the skins and would have been willing to stay for less, but he got replaced cause LT and alstot ran over him.
and he is more a hard hitter than a coverage guy. |
Re: Ryan Clark to Pittsburgh
I think the Kool-Aid comment is more of a compliment. The Greg Williams aggressive style of defense got him addicted and he wants to stay in a similar scheme.

Re: Ryan Clark to Pittsburgh
Now that I have thought about it, I jumped to conclusions, I live in PA and everyone where I work know that I am a huge Skins fan and at first they were saying how Clark wanted to play for a winning team, as if he wanted out of Washington. I read the article and took it like most squeeler fans did and thought that he was degrading the skins, but now I see that he was just complimenting them... My bad, and Mr. Clark I AM SORRY if he is ever on here...
