Stupid ESPN
Question 10 from the ESPN SportsNation poll on free agency additions:
10) After adding Archuleta, Randle El, Andre Carter, Brandon Lloyd and Christian Fauria, will the Washington Redskins improve on last season's performance and win a playoff game? HEY ESPN, WE DONT NEED TO 'IMPROVE' OUR PERFORMANCE TO WIN A PLAYOFF GAME...WE WON ONE LAST YEAR. Who's writing these things, Fat Len and Peter King? |
Re: Stupid ESPN
Dumb sh*ts.

Re: Stupid ESPN
That is pretty pathetic.

Re: Stupid ESPN
Anything to hate on Dan Snyder...

Re: Stupid ESPN
I dont get all the hating. Its a question, YES or NO. Its not saying we need to improve our performance, its saying will the additions help us improve from last year.
MY ANSWER IS..... OF COURSE |
Re: Stupid ESPN
ooops, sorry. I see what you are getting at. win a playoff game.
OK<< DUMB SHITS is accurate |
Re: Stupid ESPN
Nothing new. I hold these "analysts" in the same regard as daytime talk show hosts.

Re: Stupid ESPN
It seriously is like the whole rest of the NFL is in denial of the fact that we not only made the playoffs last year, we actually made it to the second round of the playoffs. I bet if you take the average NFL fan and ask them what were the 12 teams that made the playoffs last year, the Skins would either be the last one they remember or the one they completely forgot made it. Oh well, not that it matters.......I actually think it's kinda funny.

Re: Stupid ESPN
i just want to write someone to get an answer, anyone know the author?
|
Re: Stupid ESPN
How do we email this particular section of ESPN, not only because I am upset but because it is wrong. It pisses me off because I am a Skins fan, but if it were something dumb like that for any other team I would want to email them anyways to fix it.
Funny side note: about 44 percent of people, as of now, think we won't win a playoff game, wow, looks like we are going to have to prove everyone wrong all over again... |
Re: Stupid ESPN

Re: Stupid ESPN
This shit happens every week with them. They have done written something just purely incorrect about 5 times about the skins in the past 4 months. How stupid can they be? Everyone here can name all the playoff teams and if they were writing an anything about any of those teams that would be seen by everyone in the country you would make sure it was correct. Dumb shits.

Re: Stupid ESPN
I am very relieved that this is happening. I'd much rather be overlooked in this way. Don't think this doesn't have some level of affect on the players. I'm kind of a broken record about this, but I get worried when the morons at ESPN start liking us!
It's a classic case of denial--if these guys actually recognize that we're good, they'll have to see how wrong they've been. That may make them aware that, despite their inflated self-images, they really don't know anything special about football. And then where will they be? Fat, lazy, and out of a job! |
Re: Stupid ESPN
What gets me is that according to the poll - our signing of R-El was THE WORST offensive offseason free agent signing and Archuletta was THE WORST defensive signing.
Granted Archuletta didn't seem to be high on everyone's list but, sorry, the J. Peterson signing seemed far more extreme to me. As for R-El - weren't at least 4 teams looking to sign him? Yeah yeah. We paid them a premium - so that means it was bad. bleah - what idiots. I can't wait for the season to start. BTW- I would agree that, of all our signings, I think the Arch signing is the biggest for "boom or bust" potential but even if it busts - and as I understand the contract, we cut him next year as post 7/1 cut and he only counts 1M against the cap next year and 3M in 2008. If he works out, our secondary will be monstrous AND, GW will have so many f***ing different ways to come at you, opposing offenses won't know their head from their ass by the end of the game. All they will know is that they are leaving the field in immense pain. If Arch's back holds up - This defense is gonna hurt people next year. |
